[ Well, this sucked. This sucked a lot. Despite having no powers, Alvin always got involved in a lot of Superhero business, since well, it was kinda is job to investigate things. Especially superheroes and supervillains. People paid GOOD money for information on supers in general.

Though that sometimes led to a bit of a problem. Namely, getting surrounded by Deviobots when he was on the job.

Alvin glared at the nearest one, pointing his gun towards it, and fired. His gun was custom made and meant to fire off several different types of rounds, swapping between them with just a twist of the handle. So down the Deviobot went, a victim of his new EMP bullets.

... Information on supers may have paid well, but it would be a lot better if having the proper equipment didn't cost so much.]

I knew investing in these things would come in handy. Now, any more of you want to get fried?

[ The Deviobots, being, you know, robots, just decided to come after him. Alvin grinned, firing his gun again.

And nothing happened. And nothing happened again when he fired off another shot. Looked like his gun was fried. He had specified that he didn't want any electrical components in the thing for a reason! ]

Okay... maybe I was a bit too hasty here. I'm not a superhero, there's no reason for you to--- [ Yeah. No more time for talking. He's going to be running around like a madman to avoid getting pulverized or his head cut off now. ]

[ So, Alvin's on the lookout for information on Supers. More specifically, he's on the look out for information on the identities of supers. Of course, it wasn't really all that easy. You couldn't just go into a club and ask who the various masked crusaders in the city were. No one knew, and the ones who knew were pretty secretive.

But hey, a job's a job, so that's why Alvin was doing the next best thing. Waiting until he had the best shot he could get in the middle of a fight, and then plant a tracking device on the super by shooting it at him. Once that worked, he should be able to figure out where exactly the super lived. And from there, getting the secret identity would be easy.

So, as soon as the super he was going after was distracted by a fight against Deviobots or monsters or criminals or whatever, Alvin would slip out of the shadows and use his trusty multi-purpose gun to fire the tracking device onto said super. Shouldn't be too hard, right? He was a pretty decent shot.

And there was the perfect shot right there. Without any hesitation, he fired the tracking device. Now there was just one thing to ask... would the thing actually stick onto the super, or did he just waste his time? ]

[Lucky for Alvin, the Devibots are stopped in their tracks by an brilliant blast of blue energy. A solid block of ice forms around each of them and they fall to the pavement, shattering into pieces.]

BOOM! Begone, you mechanical menaces! This is Ice King's turf!

[The source of the life-saving blast is the "Ice King", former super villain menace shakily turned Omegafriend-ally. There was a lot of debate about it, and in the weeks since his arrival he's been the poster child for the natural untrustworthiness and danger of Supers. At least he's pointed in the right direction at the moment.]

Maybe you're one of the very few friends he has, maybe you're just catching him at lunch or after school (when he's not in class, it's rare to see him without his precious motorcycle).]

[Black sand slithered through the city streets, crawling its way through cracks and openings of residences. A few screams followed, and even a few whinnies of horses. You heard that right. Horses.

In the middle of the street, a tall figure walks almost gliding across the ground as he moves. The end of his cloak seems to fade into the shadow behind him. Upon closer inspection, the he looks to be the source of where the black sand is coming from. He walks casually, a bit of pep in his step as he does so. He smiles as he holds a hand to his ear, hearing a child's scream. And another soon afterwards.

Beside him, the sand bubbles and rises, a large black horse forming beside him. Pitch smiles pleasantly as he reaches a hand out to pet the sandy horse's muzzle, in which the horse leans into, gold eyes glowing brightly.]

It's been so long! Feels good to stretch my legs once more.

[Simon steps directly into Pitch's path, clutching the crown in his hands.]

Oh yeah? Well, they're not gonna feel so good in a sec, because you're gonna be sitting down! I mean. You're going down! And.. and also they're hurt 'cause I'm gonna beat you up.

[Jinx is not a hero by any stretch, but if she is a villain she's not the kind of villain to suffer other villains to destroy all the perfectly good stuff she could be destroying.

And honestly? Blowing up robots is always super-satisfying. So she's out just sort of... firing at random. Blowing up Deviobots and buildings alike. Also laughing a lot. Destruction of property is basically what she lives for, and Jinx really doesn't care who that property belongs to.

You might have fought her before, you might not, but regardless she's here and doing something that sort of resembles helping. Make of it what you will.]

[Mighty is a... strong word for a showdown with this one. That implies Jinx thinks through her crimes enough for a dramatic high-stakes showdown. But regardless, you've found her (intentionally or otherwise) aiming her rocket launcher at a giant neon pink 'X' she's painted on the outside wall of a bank.

She turns to look at you, grinning from ear to ear. Unless you snuck up on her and she doesn't. Your move, hero.]

This definitely isn't the kind of place where she shows up usually, but... she doesn't look armed. Her backpack doesn't look like it's bulging with bombs or things either. Samus was never one for stealth. While it was easier to hit an enemy in the back, the suit was a bit too bright to be stealthy. She did point the arm cannon at the woman now. A pulsing ball of icy energy had frozen half of the arm cannon now with a charge on it, pointing it over at her now. Samus was supposed to say something. Superheroes do that right? But she didn't, launching the incredibly cold ball of cold over at Jinx in an attempt to freeze her.

[Rarely is the Doctor more commonly known as Black Jack seen in the Omegabase, since technically him being unlicensed would class him as not quite on the up and up. And there is also the fact he dresses, and looks, more like a villain. That probably doesn't help much or at all.

But that doesn't matter, because he can be found outside the medical facilities... Sitting in a chair, still in scrubs, passed out and snoring. Which means he most likely just finished patching up some hot headed hero-type and did it well, since he's snoring pretty loudly.]

4-Lady in the Suit

Samus had recently returned to her homeworld, Earth. It had been nearly 30 years since that fateful day that had made her a child of the stars rather than Terra. Here she was here to be a hero. She was in the usual Varia suit, walking through the halls. At best she looked lost, though she was actually letting the mapping feature in her suit build a map of the base as she wandered around it. She was actively avoiding meeting with the other heroes here. The Bounty Hunter didn't care much for making friends or meeting with new people. But it was doubtful one looking like her would remain immune to any interaction.

6-Rough Return

The ship had been pretty dinged up when she was bringing it in. The retroboosters failed on them pretty hard and Samus was forced to bring the suit online for re-entry protection. She landed rather hard as it slid through the forests near Venture City. And that's not even mentioning the bright comet like burning across her shields as it came down. She hit the ground pretty hard as well.

Even with suit protection, she had passed out in her chair and a great deal of suit functions were offline until she could commit to repairs. Though for the time being, a little help would be nice for the damaged gunship and its occupant.

The Keronian had always been on a look out for things that aren't native to Pekopon - err... earth, and the big comet of a rough re-entry certainly caught attention, especially as that it landed not too far from his little hut.

Dororo sprang into action and rushed to the site of the crash. As soon as he feel the ship's exterior was cool enough to touch, he cautiously approached, trying to get inside to look for it's occupant.

Of course Bebe could handle things on her own. Because Bebe is Bebe. She withstood the sadness of being a witch, defeated nightmares, and didn't break a sweat back home! She can regenerate from almost anything! She is the Tenacious B!

...On the other hand, keeping herself stuck in default - and unique-looking - Witch mode while in this city kind of draws attention to her. Especially from villains. She's kind of obvious no matter what form she's in. This moment is no exception, as the enemy keeps trying to make her go explodey. Thankfully, she can just keep regenerating - she isn't foolish enough to keep her true weakness anywhere near her when she's in battle - but she's still getting worn down. And that was still bad, especially if the baddie got away!

In other words, Bebe could use some help.

Alright, something weird is definitely going on here. Blake's just trying to eat her sandwich and read her book but every time she glances up there's some weird... thing hovering around her, watching her.

Okay, this has gone on long enough. The next time the little... thing comes close enough, Blake will move quickly, trying to snatch the creature off the floor. Or out of the air. Or from wherever it happens to be.

[Wherever there's turmoil, there's justice - even if it's rather pint-sized. Flying above all of the impending robots is a girl in a rather...sparkly pink costume with a matching mask, riding atop of a... What even is that she's standing on? Well, whatever it is, she's arrived and using it to maneuver her way through the robots all the while attacking them with the aid of paintbrush.]

Take that, evil robots! Ka-pow, ka-pow!

[With a swift gesture, she conjures up a hoard of...vampiric kittens? Honestly, whoever this hero is, her special attacks are quite ridiculous, but the kittens hiss and fly towards their robotic foes, gnashing at them with their fangs. ...At least they're managing to stall some of the legion of robots. She's pretty proud of herself, twirling the brush between her fingers with a triumphant smile.]

Score one for Lady Mabes!

[The best part of the Omegabase, in Mabel's opinion, was the free snack machines - and she was definitely utilising them. There's a young girl standing in front of one of them, giggling to herself as she presses a button and retrieves the snack from the bottom of the machine before repeating the process again and again. She's practically got an arms-full of snacks, and yet she's continuing to get some more anyways.]

Free unlimited snacks! It's like... It's like a snackapalooza!

[Whatever that means, anyways, but hey - she's enjoying herself.]

[It's an off-day for Lady Mabelton as well as the human identity behind it; with no work and no school, she can do whatever she'd like - so she heads out into Venture City, making sure to skip up to any and every unfamiliar face she sees and greet them cheerfully. After all, there's no problem with making new friends, right? And as a social butterfly, Mabel's quite fond of making new friends.]

[Let's set the scene shall we? There is a young man, around early twenties, seated on the sidewalk right next to a phone booth. What was he doing exactly? Well if the pencil and sketch pad wasn't enough of a clue for you, he's waiting for someone to pop out so he could draw them. He had noticed weird people coming out of phone booths lately and he REALLY wanted to draw one of them. Now, it must look pretty weird since he's literally just sitting there staring at an empty phone booth. But you shouldn't focus on that. You should focus more on the floating newspapers behind the man that were origami-ing themselves into little cranes. Hard to miss really. The newspaper cranes are literally circling around this guy's head, and he's not paying attention to them at all.

Current outfit: A punk rock bunny kigurumi with neon blue sneakers and an abusively bejeweled backpack
Current hair color: Navy blue and sky blue ombre hair.]

Out of the Way

Though standing in the way of the phone booth wasn't that smart. He soon felt a hand of a large woman on his shoulder that roughly shoved him roughly into a wall on the far side. The phone booth was occupied by a massive power suit, 2 meters tall, standing there. Exiting the phone booth. An arm cannon overflowing with cold and darkness was on her arm. It fired a bolt into a large robot turning around the street, freezing it up in dark crystaline structures. "Well, that was easy."

In her hurry, she had missed the otherwise easy to see cranes circling a man's head. At least while she was focusing on giant death robots.

[ It was a perfectly lovely day at the beach up until an innocuous volleyball net grew twenty feet high and started stomping around, spiking fast-moving beachballs at screaming civilians with its brand new limbs. Where is it even getting that many beach balls... The answer is magic. As for how it got there in the first place...

The young lady perched on the roof of the beachside cafe looks distinctly out of place with her satisfied smirk and her elaborate black-and-red outfit. It doesn't look like something you could go swimming in. ]

[ Eas' current plan? Destroy the Omegafriends once and for all from the inside. Win their friendship, learn their weaknesses, then crush them like tiny insignificant fleas. As one does. And via some method or another, she's caught onto a hero's civilian identity and is ready to spring the trap. Said trap consists of Eas' - no, Setsuna's - hat flying off on this fine windy day into the general direction of her target. Surely any proper hero would leap at the chance to aid a damsel in distress - and if they're not, they're probably not the type of gullible sap she's looking for. ]

And it is a soda shop instead of a bar because look we have a lot of underaged gloomy types, including this one. Eas is sulking at the counter, drowning her sorrows in some sort of fizzy cranberry juice concoction. She got her butt definitively kicked by optimistic warriors of justice earlier today. Again. It's the sort of thing that wears on a person. ]

[Despite being part of an invasion team, Dororo has been spending more time defending Venture City from villains and frankly the Keroro Platoon's invasion plans have been pretty harmless, so apparently someone decided he's allowed to enter the Omegabase - much to his shock]

Eh? Are you certain that this is wise to allow one such as I to enter? I may defend Pekopon, but I am still an invader. You are showing your secrets to someone who may be your enemy.

[Deviobots are rampaging across the city - a sudden blur of blue leaps out from the shadows, darting from one robot to another - robotic limbs falling off from clean sword slices in the wake.

The blur stops on top of a car, revealing the small alien. His eyes darts - taking in the surroundings. More Deviobots then he initially spotted, and people around. This will be most troublesome]

You. If you are a civilian - please leave the vicinity, it is much too dangerous. If you can fight, I humbly ask for your assistance in taking these machines down.

[Patricia doesn't really need to discover her powers. She's had them for a couple years now. This is, however, the first time those eggheads at the lab forgot to leave the door locked and she slipped out under cover of night. They built her to be the ultimate crimefighter, and by golly that's just what she'll do. No more tests, no more adjustments, no more nothin'!

Those who frequent the Venture City skyline will, of course, notice the strange, lanky silhouette bounding across the rooftops, leaving a trail of apprehended criminals, violent explosions, and crudely-drawn graffiti in its wake. Look out world, here comes Peacock.]

[One benefit for hooking up with the Omegafriends? All the free TV you can watch, and Peacock abuses that privilege as often as she can manage. As of right now, she happens to be slumped on one of the Omegabase's many overstuffed couches, munching popcorn alongside a bird dressed exactly like her, a little cartoon bomb, and what looks like an anvil with legs. How she manages to watch her stories without any eyes is a mystery left for you to solve.

You, of course, being the unfortunate hero who happened upon Peacock during the sacred ritual of Looney Tunes at five in the morning. Upon making the slightest bit of noise, she looks over the couch and puts a finger to her lips in an exaggerated plea for silence.]

Shhh! Pipe down! It's just gettin' to the good part!

[Darkwing's just stumbling in off night duty and happens on this familiar sight. he can't help but smile, because it reminds him of finding Gosalyn watching her beloved Saturday morning cartoons, as strange as this kid is. he chuckles as softly as he can and sinks onto the couch next to the bird. it seems the safest one to sit by, after all]

[In this part of the city, a lone hero is facing a very large number of Deviobots. He's wearing a red powered armor, and wielding a shield and a beam saber blade extending from his wrist. Attached to his hip is a rifle of some sort.]

[The Red Knight knows that he can't fight them alone for much longer -- if he does, his armor is almost certain to run out of power. Therefore, he's willing to take whatever help he can get.]

[You're all relaxing at the base. Athrun walks in, clearly having just returned from a superhero action. Rather than strike up a conversation, though, he pulls out his laptop and begins to do things on it. You're free to try to peep over his shoulder, or...

Experiment 626 - Another Stitch | Stitch

[Excited? Oh yes! Having escaped from imprisonment and crashed down near this large city, Experiment 626 was very excited. There was so much he could do here it just made him feel all giddy.

He'd already reversed a few street signs and rewired some traffic lights to cause a few near-accidents and backup traffic. He was now on the balcony of a pizza restaurant, scaring people and throwing things, making a big mess and eating their food. just being naughty.

Someone should robably stop him.]

[So there were heroes here. Pretty strong ones too. That was fine, things would be more fun this way. But he didn't really want them on his tail here, so he needed a disguise and a place to lay low. It was simple enough too. People kept these animals that barked and apparently didn't mind being collared.

Having stashed his stuff in some bushes at the dog park, 626 had then disguised himself by retracting his spines and his antennae. His extra arms had already been in and he moved to sit off in the grass and see if anyone would notice and take him home.]

[She doesn't mind the chaos that much, really. Nobody's getting hurt too badly, and it's one heck of a show. Still, she's an Omegafriend now, and that means she's gotta put the kibosh on this whole thing. Shame, too. Some of the villainous types around here could take some pointers from this little guy.

[Yang had just wanted to make a withdrawal. Rent on the dive that she and her partner called an office was due, and that meant scraping together what meager funds she could get together to help pay it. She wasn't the type to save much, but she wasn't the type to completely blow her money on frivolities.

Of course, Yang didn't have time to check for sure, because - this being Venture City and all - the bank ended up being robbed.

Rolling her eyes and sighing, Yang ducked behind something in order to put her mask on. With any luck, this criminal might end up dropping some cash. She wouldn't keep it, of course, but maybe whomever owned this bank would be kind enough to offer a reward.

After loading and cocking Ember Celica, she stepped out into view, pointing dramatically]

Hey, bad guy with really bad foresight! You ready to get your butt kicked?!

[Yang let out a whistle of appreciation as she strode through the Omegabase. This place was certainly much more elaborate, well constructed, and leak proof than the place she was currently working out of. She couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous]

So... two questions. One, any idea how much this place costs? And two... does it have a bar? A cafeteria? I'm parched, to be honest.

She could be out on the streets, patrolling, maybe you could bring a matter to her attention, or whatever! I'm flexible.]

[Fireballs are not exceptionally effective against robots on the whole, but at least Eleanor tries. It's keeping them away from her, at least - and the ability to teleport means no getting caught. But it... looks like she might be outmatched. A little bit. Maybe.]

[Good lord this place was amazing. Cities/complexes under things haven't usually gone so well for Eleanor, but no experiments or anything! So here she is walking around in... an old-timey diving suit. That sure is a strange superhero costume.

The important thing, though, is those snack machines over there - she has ten Little Sisters to care for back home, and they'd probably love a snack or two. So she's just going to try to... grab a bunch. Not that she wants to be rude or anything, but mouths. They need feeding.]

Eleanor deals almost exclusively and specifically with criminals who threaten children, because I mean... her superhero name IS Big Sister, but there's plenty of patrolling to be done! And if you didn't know who she is, I mean... a skinny tall person in a diving suit jumping around the city probably doesn't exactly look entirely heroic.]

[He's not a superhero anymore and he knows it, but that doesn't make it any less difficult for him to resist the temptation to run in and start clobbering bad guys when you have a robot invasion going on. Then he sees a little girl about to get run over by one of those things and, well, old instincts die hard. Which is why said little girl is very shocked to have a blue streak suddenly move in and sweep her out of the way. Now there's a guy in a casual outfit and a rather nicely designed domino mask, glowing blue.]

Oi oi! I've had enough out of you tin cans! Why don't you watch where you're freaking going?!

With that one word, the Hamburglar leaps into action, blurring into superspeed as he quickly snatches up every burger in the store, stuffing them in a sack that is passed off to the Fry Guys.

6A: [Ned's class is having a hero visit the school to talk about all the superheroing in Venture City and related safety advice, and you're the lucky person the Omegafriends sent! Hope you're good at handling a bunch of ten year olds.

Ned himself, though, is all but standing on his desk, leaning forward and waving his hand in the air enthusiastically. He has questions, LOTS OF THEM. Learning is fun, after all!]

6B: [Ned has a small blog of his own on Rumblr. It's mostly a dream journal for his own use - he posts every few days, usually with a long ramble about whatever horrible nightmare he's had. Dang this kid has a lot of nightmares, REALLY CREEPY ones too at times. Writing about them makes him feel a bit better though, even if no one responds.

He suspects most people who follow him are only there for the occasional photo of his adorable pet pig, anyway.

Today's post is about a dream featuring a robot with issues and it trying to take Ned's place in his family. And then turning everyone into robots too. Because nightmares.]

Saffron, the most expensive ingredient in the world! The Venture City bank vault holds a special treasure. The Rarest of all Saffron stems, the GOLDEN Saffron! The Chairman couldn't let this ingredient merely be traded between collectors. He had to have this ingredient to be his SECRET INGREDIENT in the future! His Ultimate Iron Chef competition would not be denied! Never! Never!

He had distracted the guards with the perfect donuts, either bribing them or distracting them with the donuts. Then he was in the safety deposit vaults. But given he had no skill of lock picking, he started using a tenderizer mallet to smash his way in. This triggered the alarm! Oh no, the heroes might come to stop the Chairman's glorious plots!

[If there's one thing Arcee can't stand, it's human-made robots. They were like clunky, annoying, walking insults with the added bonus of attacking humanity. So to say she takes it a little more personally than she should is an understatement. You might find a Deviobot being knocked back harder than what should be necessary.

Of course, being a robot herself and her current rough-and-tough attitude, it wouldn't be unlikely that a not so observant hero might mistake her for just another one of the machines.]

[Oh hey, bases are cool. Granted, it's not like anything back home, but then again it's not like there's anything back home anyway. It'll have to do. So if anyone feels like chatting up an eight foot tall robot lady, now might be the best time. There's only so long she can stand around before she wants to be back on her wheels.]

3. [Luigi was nervous.

Not that this was particularly unusual, but he wasn't dealing with ghosts or having to fight Bowser right now. No, he was nervous that he had to work with someone.

From the outside, this might seem kind of unusual because he does go adventuring with his brother Mario quite a bit and he's not normally afraid of meeting new people. But there were a lot of heroes here who had amazing super powers. Some of them could even have powers similar to him without the aid of a mushroom or fire flower or any other power up. He was afraid of becoming a dead weight while the other person effortlessly defeated the bad guy.

Still, he imagines he could at least deal with it as long as the person was friendly enough. If he was lucky, even if he does end up getting overshadowed he might even make a new friend here.

Luigi arrives at the meet up spot and sees another person standing there. Assuming that this was the hero he was supposed to meet, he gives a polite wave to them.]

Are'a you supposed to be the person I'm meeting?

6. [While Luigi was definitely not new to this "Hero" business, he didn't constantly crave it. Sure, an adventure every once in awhile was fun after a few days of being freaked out by it, but Luigi loved downtime too. So he's sitting in a cafe that's close to the base, drinking what appears to be hot chocolate and people watching.

So, naturally, this is the perfect time to ruin his day.]

[So far so good, the person waiting for Luigi just looks like your average lady. Of course, she also has a sweet bike parked against the curb, but that doesn't exactly scream "I can shoot fire out of my hands".

...Or does it?

There's a small second of surprise on her face as she looks Luigi over, almost like she wasn't expecting someone so, erm, green? Sure, let's go with green. But again, it's only for a second, the heroes on this planet are so varied that green-cap-overalls-man isn't really that weird.]
