It’ll take two ~~buddy cops~~ Omegafriends from different backgrounds working together to follow the trail of clues - can you put up with each other long enough to figure out her villainous plan?

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

[Yang just stares for several moments before grinning and lunging forward, grabbing Sonic and lifting him up into a hug]

It's so cute! What are you little guy, some mutant mascot thing they keep around the base?!

[ At least the pause was enough time for him to swallow his food or getting grabbed up and hugged like that could have been messy. ]

Mascot?! Who are you callin' a mascot? [ He tries pushing her away. UGH hugging. ] The name's Sonic now put me down!

[aaaaand she drops him like a rock]

Holy crud! You can talk! What are you, some kind of mutant? An alien?! Some other cool thing?!

[and now we begin to see how she's related to Ruby Rose...]

Woah! [ Though he doesn't particularly like being dropped, At least he's free. Sonic brushes himself off. ]

Not just some other cool thing--I'm the coolest thing there is. Sonic the Hedgehog. [ He wags a finger in the air. ] Hero of Mobius. No autographs, please.

Now who are you?

... hedgehog? You don't really look like one.

[she puts her hands on her hips, smirking]

You can call me Golden Dragon. I'm guessing Mobius is some kind of other world or something?

Yep! That's where I'm from.

[ Yeah, her entire name wasn't going to stick at all. Way too many syllables. ]

I found the place where they stash the food if you want a drink, Goldie. Sounded like you were parched.

Ah thanks. What do they have?

[and that's what she zeroes in on... not the possibility of another world out there...]

I dunno! One sec and we'll see. [ He dashes off and in the blink of an eye he returns with a bottle of water. ] There's this. [ He dashes off again, returning with some soda. ] This. [ And again several times. ] This, this, this, and this! [ Each time he dashes off returning with something different until there's a whole plethora of drinks. All within the span of a couple seconds. ]

[and who ends up holding them? That'd be Yang. She doesn't seem too bothered, though]

Wow... you're pretty fast.

Fast and cool. [ He dashes off to grab another chilidogs and then bounds on back. ] There's food here too! Dunno what else, I just got here and started lookin' around.

[Yang sighed and moved to set the drinks down on a nearby table, picking one for herself and cracking it open]

Cool, huh? Well, you're gonna have to prove that with heroic deeds or whatever.

[stares at the chilidogs]

Hey, uh... isn't that cannibalism?

[ He stops chewing for a moment, long enough to obviously arch his eyebrow. ] Uh. No. And I don't wanna know why you thought that. [ And the chilidog goes down the hatch! He also swipes a drink too. ] They're not exactly Uncle Chuck's, but they're not bad either! You want one?

... It's made of meat. Meat is made of animals. You're an animal. Don't you guys have like a "ape shall not kill ape" thing going on?

I ain't exactly made of chilidogs, lady. [ He says flatly. ] When I figure out how to get back home, I'll take you there and so you can get the gist of how it works, but it's fine. Trust me.

... If you say so. It still seems weird to me.

[she takes a drink of her soda]

Just tell me you don't make the chili dogs out of talking pig people.

Nah, we don't make 'em outta that. [ He chuckles. Of all the things to be asked. ]

I know one swine who's in the council back home who would have a serious problem with bein' made into chilidogs. [ Sonic wiggles his fingers in the air playfully. ] But maybe we're just lulling him into a false sense of security.

... wow, so like, is there a talking version of every animal from where you come from?

They're all just Mobian's to me. [ Sonic shrugs. ] You don't have anything like that back in your neck of the woods?

Well, no. I'm pretty sure that for all the different races of humans, we're all the same species.

... Oh well. Different worlds, I guess. [and with that, she laughed and took another drink]
