[ Hello, Omegafriend! Are you currently engaged in heroics? Fighting off villainy? ...Just out and about in costume?
In that case, there's a teenager girl just off to the side giving off the most fangirlish aura possible. Watching you. She looks like she might just squeal in joy.
Seriously. She's a fangirl. Do with her what you will. ]

[ Hello, non-Omegafriend and/or Omegafriend in civvies. Wherever you are, there's a teenage girl here browsing through a superhero comic book. But when you venture a little too close, she takes that to mean you want to, like, initiate some sort of socialization or something.
Ruby's not good at socialization. ]
Oh! Hey, did you see the news this morning? Or, uh, read the newspaper? The Omegafriends took down Dr. Devious again yesterday! Isn't that so cool!?
[ ...Knowing Ruby's luck, she's either talking to somebody who helped take them down, or somebody who was taken down along with him. ]

[ Ruby attends Normal Boring High School (TM), name pending, which is where all the normal and boring people go. She's a freshman, yay, woo, and happens to be going about her day in a completely normal fashion. If by completely normal you mean "geeky and a Super fangirl." Reading comics during class, posting pictures of various Supers in her locker, yeah that's all Ruby.
If your character dare associate with her, they run the risk of having their social life forever ruined. Will they dare? ]

[ AND NOW ACTUAL COMBAT!
So yes, the Omegafriends are facing off against Dr. Devious's army of Deviobots. But what's that, some girl is being attacked? She's obviously nor a superhero, judging by her complete lack of costume and the silly dress she's wearing.
Except she... pulls out a small metal box she had strapped to her hip. And it... unfolds.... into a giant scythe.
And now she's cutting robots in half. Huh. She's still not an Omegafriend though, so... what? ]

The whole takedown had gone off without a hitch. Her first strike from above had dropped three of the four, and although the last one had managed to pull a gun on her, his panicked shots had struck nothing but her Shadows until she'd closed in, cut the barrel of the gun clean in half and delivered a kick to the midsection that sent him thudding into the would-be getaway car and slumping down with a groan.
The whole thing had taken moments and now all that's left is to call in the--
-- wait, what's up with that girl over there?]

[ And this is Ruby. She is like, right there now. She moves deceptively fast for a normal. ]
Holy cow you took those guys out in a flash! It was all like-

And then it was over!

I'm--
[Okay, forget answering that question. She blinks a few times.]
It--
[Too slow again. She gives up getting a word in edgewise here. A second or two ticks by as she waits to make sure the girl's actually finished before....]
You... want my autograph?
no subject
I've always wanted to be a hero, y'know. Helping people, saving lives, stopping the bad guys. But I've got a ways to go before.
So, um... [ She holds out an autograph book. And pen. ]
no subject
That's... a very noble goal. But things aren't always as simple as "good guys and bad guys."

[ Take the book. TAKE IT. Give Ruby autographs! ]

In any case, he is simply taking the opportunity to explore Venture City, get a better feel for its layout. There's no point being the designated tracker of G'loot Praktaw if he doesn't know where he's going.
Speaking of tracking, he can't help but use his many senses to notice that very excited human over there. Who he is just. Giving a baffled look at the moment. What are emotions even.]
1/2
Wait, he's looking over here. Did he notice me? Of course he noticed me. I stick out like a sore thumb.
Okay, Ruby, you can do this. Play it cool. Play it cool. Super cool.
[ Deeeep breath... ]

[ AW YEAH. Nailed it. ]

Okay, wait. How does one socialize. There's like, talking and stuff right?]
...Greetings, small human female.
[Aha! Ha nailed it! Imaginary self-high five!]
no subject
Crud. ]
So you're a... superhero, right? [ He is, right? He has to be, look at him. ]
no subject
Incorrect. I am designated Croach the Tracker. I merely assist the Omegafriends as best I can with my abilities, in hopes of fulfilling my onus.
[God...dammit Croach. She doesn't need your life story.]

Of course, he's really just trying to get back to a phonebooth, but seeing this teen follow him with her gaze is... a bit creepy. But he understands the look; publicity for an Omegafriend of his visibility isn't anything new.
As he comes up to Ruby, a small mechanical finger with a Sharpie on the end pops out from under his trench coat.] You want something autographed, kid?
no subject
master of stealththe hero who helped clean up the Devibots just yesterday! Wow, in the flesh!Ruby could not contain her excitement. That went double when he actually... approached her! Holy cow, how did she handle this!? ]
Do I ever!? [ She has an autograph book produced like a half second later. His autograph can go right in between Superman's and Croach the Tracker's. Don't ask how she got Superman's autograph.
Yes, she's prepared. ]

The marker finger flies across Ruby's page, finding an empty space and inputting a curious graphic in it's place.
And what's your name, little miss?
no subject
[ Ruby... any band dork could do that........ ]
...My name? It's, uh... [ What is it again? Oh, right. ] Ruby Rose.
I'm a fan. [ Like he couldn't tell. ]
no subject
[He'll also swap to a red marker and doodle in a little rose right inside the G-clef. Just.. . pretend it's there, because I can't actually draw it. Oops.]

Don't you ever stop talking?
no subject
Still, Ruby's not deterred. She's in too deep. She's already attached. God save Weiss. ]
Well, yeah, sure. There's plenty of times I don't talk. Like when I'm reading, or sleeping, or, you know. [ She gestures vaguely with her hands. ]
What brought this on, anyway? Do you not like the Omegafriends? [ That'd be silly though. Everybody likes the Omegafriends. Except cops. ]
no subject
You - [she said pointedly as she finally takes a sip of her tea] - don't talk about anything else.
[no, she's not done. Have a glare.] Other than your weapon.
no subject
And 'sides, I talk about plenty of other stuff! Like.... uh....... school?
[ No, Ruby. No you don't. ]
