"I'm afraid I don't know much about spaceship materials."
This is mostly true. Labyrinth's education included enough advanced chemistry and basic engineering that she can extrapolate some of it.
"The junkyard in town has plenty of scraps of everything I can think of, so that might be your best option."
no subject
Labyrinth had just been scanned. It wasn't a mind reading: It was a biology and power level reading. Unless her body was filled or covered with some scan resistant material, but that would be quite suspicious in itself.

You can't have shoulders like that and not be called huge. It's some sort of immutable law of the universe.
Setsuna is... mostly a normal human in this form, although she might well come off suspiciously normal. Labyrinth doesn't have any use for defective products, after all. Depending on how in-depth the scan is, it may or may not pick up on two things that separate Setsuna from the average Earth citizen: a faint coating of magitech material built into the palms of her hands, and a comparatively truncated potential lifespan.
"...What's that light?"

Samus shifted on her feet as she read over the data in a few moments before tapping her visor. It went back to green as she looked over at her now. "A scanner," She stated flatly over to her before shifting over with her shoulders bobbing before bringing her cannon up slightly. She had her own suspicions resolved on some front. She wasn't normal. That much was easy to tell. But Setsuna didn't need to know what Samus knew.
"Is there a standing offer to take me to the junkyard? I hope you don't mind the fact I have to leave my ship here."
no subject
"It's a little inconvenient, but it's not as if we can pick it up and carry it to a garage. I'd be happy to help you fix it up as much as I can."
She sidles off to one side of the brand new clearing, taking care not to turn her back.
"The junkyard's this way. It's a long walk, so if you need anything from your ship, now would be the time to retrieve it."

"Aha. Well... I don't know you very well at all, I don't even know what species you are under all that armor, and you have a large weapon on your arm. W-wouldn't anyone be nervous?"
The quaver in her voice is... entirely fake, albeit excellently faked. She's more mad than anything else. She doesn't need this, you nosy idiot, just leave.

Maybe backing up towards the treeline would be prudent. Incidentally, "weird alien junk" is cribbed from a spate of banter between two of the other superpowered residents she overheard a few weeks ago. Originality and creativity are not on the Labyrinth curriculum.

Setsuna may be an excellent liar, but telling the truth can be just as effective.

That may be true, but it was nothing but a dodge. Samus hardly cared to deal with this woman's vapid attempt to deter answering the question.

Setsuna would pay cold hard cash to see her pull this kind of stunt on Batman or White Dragon or any of the touchier heroes.
"...And if you must know, I tell fortunes."
