[Having a superhero for a dad, Parley is way used to this kind of stuff. Just because she's never seen this many super heroes in the same place before and never had access to this kind of equipment is no reason to stand there in shock, duffel bag hanging loosely in one hand at one of the myriad entrances to the bustling Omegabase.

So the fact that that is currently what Parley is doing must be for some OTHER reason then being impressed.]

[Since Parley's powers awakened, she's been teleporting at random and without warning. Were you cooking dinner? Watching TV? Working out? Fighting the forces of evil? Whatever it was, now you have Parley as a guest, for she just quietly popped out of thin air nearby in a sitting position, and then collapsed onto the ground.]

Well. The nerve of him!

[ downtown use to look so much better than this but that's what happens when an unstoppable force meets a violet object. the unstoppable force was one the city's many superheroes, this one boasting of the standard flight, strength, and speed common to the area, while the object was a suitcase toting villain by the name Crimsonnail. said villain had just wiped the floor with the superhero by a combination of a lot of rubble and very large nails and was now inspecting the damage all the fighting has done to her nails.

what? even villains have to be careful about appearances.]

I had just got them done too!

[Parley, there are many, many absolutely terrible places to end up with a power like this.

A ten-year-old girl's idea of a living room may be one of the very worst. Woodsy nature accents, lots of dolls, a very large video game collection along one wall...

And then there's the girl in the fancy dress and tights, staring at Parley and straightening from her lazy flop with a controller in her hand to standing up straight and poised... With the controller still in her hand.]

[Venture City's banks are vaunted for their good insurance. That's kind of a necessity when you're in a city laden with supervillains, but it bears repeating, especially when a supervillainous scheme strikes a storage of savings suddenly.

Some plots are, however, more elaborate than others. This particular one's pretty simple, overall. A ten-year-old girl just froze the doors, then shattered them, walking into the vault, grabbing a bag full of unmarked cash, and just came out of the vault.

What hero shall dare stop a ten-year-old girl?!?!?!]

[This time around, it's Venture Park. Another of Evangeline's schemes has been mostly foiled, leaving but one step left: Capturing and arresting her! ... Or at least making her give up on this scheme through combat!]

Oh my. You intend to stop me, then. This should be fun.

[Good news: She's dropped the Transylvanian accent in favor of her typical mix of Welsh and 'BBC' English.]

[Please tell me you weren't stupid enough to ignore The Protector's warning to just stay away from Evangeline's cabin out in the woods in suburban Venture.

Because that's a ten-year-old-but-really-600-year-old vampire glaring at you, having waltzed into her living room. It's a nice place, actually! Unlike the well-dressed and angry-looking lady on the couch.]

You have ten seconds to justify your presence or leave.

Vin | Mistborn

[If she'd had to discard her status as an urban legend, this was not the way she had hoped to do it. "Mistborn," the independent Super that had become a sort of Robin Hood-esque figure, stealing from the overly wealthy of the city for the benefit of the less fortunate. It wasn't her usual M.O. to emerge in the light of day but these robots were also threatening the people she'd promised to take care of too.

One Deviobot goes down, circuitry sparking from where she'd yanked it free and she spins, tassled mistcloak whipping around her, and sends a second crashing into a wall. Still, numbers are numbers and soon she's being harried by laser fire as she leaps and flips through the air to avoid it.

And, naturally, there isn't an Omegafriend in sight. They're never around when you need them.]

[As mentioned, she isn't normally fighting off hordes of villain-built robots. Tonight, she's up to her more usual habits: breaking into the upper class apartment of one of Venture City's corporate moguls with a wife famous for gaudy jewelry. And that's her target. Whatever overpriced, unnecessary bit of flashy nonsense that can be sold for the cash that could help somebody who needed it.

Window open, she's hard at work, burning zinc to throw off waves of calm and security just in case anybody woke up to something going bump in the night. She'd undoubtedly tripped a silent alarm so she needed to be fast. Get what she could carry and make her escape back out the window in less than five minutes. Easy. What could go wrong?]

You've done pretty well, so far. Figured out all three of my tricks without even needing prompting. Saved both hostages cleanly. Even got the idol back.

But, tell me, dear. How well have you thought this through? How much will I have to hold back for a fair fight?

[Skeletor could not have asked for better timing for Devious' little invasion. As the battle against the Deviobots rages in the streets the Lord of Destruction watches from the roof of one of Venture City's skyscrapers. Behind him, Tri-Klops and Trapjaw are working quickly to attach a device to one of the antennae.]

Tri-Klops, is the device ready yet?

Almost, Skeletor. Just a few more minutes

Excellent. [He steps to the edge of the building, looking down on the city.] I must remember to thank Dr. Devious. With those fools occupied by her robots, they're far too busy to stop me from successfully completing the Seismic Control Device. And once it's in place, there will be nothing to stop me from laying waste to this city and ridding myself of those wretched "heroes" forever!

[Villainous laugh time? Villainous laugh time.]

No matter how many schemes you come up with, the Omegafriends will always stop you!

Mariiiine... SHOOOT!

[With a wave of her palm, Cure Marine sends a machine-gun spread of blue laser bolts at the villainous vampire!]

You know, you really should make sure nobody's listening before you start monologuing like that.

[How did she get up here? Chalk it up to minion incompetence, I guess!]

[The first wave of blasts is blocked with a hastily-tossed up wall of ice.]

Water powers against ice magic. This could actually be fun.

[And then, Evangeline dashes right in at Cure Marine.]

With a faint sigh, "Mistborn" straightens from where she'd been crouched over a cracked safe. She's... perhaps not as much of an imposing figure as her reputation might have hinted. Just about five feet tall and rail thin. The cloak's pretty neat though, and she turns to eye the floating hero from beneath her hood and domino mask.]

Actually, I would. I'm kind of busy right now.

[That puts her at about the size of her foil of the night! What the Super lacks in cloaks, she makes up for with a cape and a feathered masquerade mask.

Tengu leans into the room, resting her elbows on the windowsill as the rest of her floats outside.]

I'm not with the Omegafriends, you know. Are you a Super, or is this just what you do for fun on Friday nights?

[Marine crosses her arms over her chest to block Evangeline's tiny fist, but is still knocked back a solid ten feet!]

How can you punch that hard?! You're even smaller than I am!

What? [And Skeletor whips around to find himself face to face with one of those accursed Omegafriends right now. Oh, he'll definitely need to have a little talk about security.

His eye sockets glow red in frustration for a moment before he settles down and chuckles.]

So it would seem. However, [as he speaks, a couple of those monstrous minions set up. Clawful and Whiplash, his big, dumb muscle] you'll soon find that you've made a much bigger mistake coming here alone.

[He points toward the two up on the antenna.] You two, complete the work on the device. The rest of you, destroy her!

Balthier | FFXII | 1 I guess?

[Balthier-- oh, I'm sorry, Strahl -- didn't often just float around in full costume. Normally, he let his body relax out of the metallic shell which helped him live. You know, train himself, or maybe kick back with a good book. But today? He'd read that there was an ancient amulet in the museum. And what kind of Sky Pirate would he be if he didn't steal it?

So, today? You've got a slightly invisible man just... oh. Wait. Deviobots. Well - he might as well help whoever is here saving the day.

And then steal that amulet for himself. Heck, maybe you're trying to stop him yourself!]

[Well, that puts her somewhat at ease and she quietly pockets the coins she'd slipped into her hand. She goes back to her work, opening up the safe, but doesn't take her attention off of Tengu. Just because she's not an Omegafriend doesn't mean she won't try to get in her way.]

Something like that.

[ So trying to go for that amulet? Unfortunately it's already been snatched up by... Well to put it simply some guy dressed in a rather cheesy blue suit straight from a Disney movie. He even had that annoying teeth glint when he smiled.

He also was holding the amulet studying. ]

[What could go wrong? Well... in this apartment, there happened to be another man breaking in, using his invisibility to look for valuables.

But when he sees this other person - they weren't an Omegafriend, were they? Tsk. And here he thought he'd gotten away cleanly.

And that's when his invisibility broke down. Letting out a tsk, he knew from a glance he'd probably need to fight his way out.]
And I thought I could wait to repair myself.

And thank you for disabling the security.
[He said, turning within a moment, gun aimed. To be honest, he wasn't a fan of hurting people. But that's his - perhaps it's valuable to somebody else! Of course, he would have prefered going on the adventure to find it, but.]
Now. I believe you have something of mine?

[Questions? Of course Strahl would like to answer them. He's got a reputation to keep, after all - the charming thief, who just happens to save the day a lot!]
Well... I suppose I can give away a few of my secrets.
[He's got his charming smile, though he's still fully costumed.]

[ So. A gun. He actually has just a cheesy sword that goes with the whole cheesy outfit. The amulet goes around his neck as he draws the sword with a flourish and poses with it. ]

I'm afraid that it is something far outside of your skills to handle.

You really didn't read up on me in the Omegadatabase, did you?

Sheesh, I even edited like a third of that entry myself once to warn you people.

[The next few punches are a fair notch more sane power-wise, though still quite strong - like Evangeline's superhuman strength got flipped off and this is just a girl who has trained in Aikido for over a century striking now.]
