Maybe. But language faculties decrease sharply after the onset of puberty, so who knows what else my poor abused brain is going to have trouble adapting to? Genius level intellect and hypno-induced knowledge can only take you so far in life.

We'll have to figure out something. I don't intend to just give up. And language, at least, isn't an issue. That's good.

Think about it. Your case is odd enough that typical resources really aren't going to be a lot of help. That leaves supers or super-case-related specialists.

Plus, I honestly want to help you because of the similar nature of our abilities.

...so what, you want me to teach you to suck less in combat? I'm not sure even I can do that.

And, actually, yeah. You mentioned that it's severe enough that you need to pay attention to breathing right now. That's well past 'raised by wolves'.

I'm not supposed to be more combat capable than a production model sound core though. I'm the command unit, remember?

S... Still. And your core's actually quite a bit stronger with a lot of specific capabilities I don't have.

[Lori probably doesn't realize most of them are available to her - she wasn't told how to trigger them, so...]

... They're strongly recommended. First, for modesty if you're going to wear a skirt or in case your clothes get damaged. Also, support for your chest. It helps. Massively.

Athletic stuff may be more your thing, though? Comfier.

Well, the bottom stuff I can sorta get. But I don't exactly have the most mobile fighting style, or much to support on my chest.

I think comfort would be good though.

Yeah, I'm honestly like that too. And, trust me, you're still going to want something for general wear. It really will help.

[Lori glances towards the athletic wear section a bit.]

Tch. Fine. I guess we can do both, though I don't know about...well most of this stuff. I'm sure I'm going to fall on my face when it comes to trouser time.

[Lori quickly goes and grabs a few items - of course, she measured Mir earlier - coming back with a light handful.]

This oughta be enough to try some varieties.

Right. I just have to...go back into the changing rooms for another half an hour.

[She does rub some of the fabric in her hands and look around in awe at the store though before shaking her head and walking into the changing room.]

R... Right. Erm, do you want help getting everything on quickly?

...I guess it would be better than spending fifteen minutes on buttons and stuff.

[The camera pointedly stays outside as Lori follows Mir in and closes the door.]

I don't know about any of this. Can't I just wear a normal jumpsuit?

Jumpsuits really aren't that normal in Venture. Or most places now. I don't even think they were common in Soviet-era Russia outside of certain professions.
