2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

I'm not supposed to be more combat capable than a production model sound core though. I'm the command unit, remember?

I don't actually have to pay attention to my breathing. I just...feel like I have to.

S... Still. And your core's actually quite a bit stronger with a lot of specific capabilities I don't have.

Still. I'm disappointed in what you've done with what ought to by by all rights a far superior model.

But first, Mir picks up some...undergarments.]

...do I actually need this torture device?

... They're strongly recommended. First, for modesty if you're going to wear a skirt or in case your clothes get damaged. Also, support for your chest. It helps. Massively.

Athletic stuff may be more your thing, though? Comfier.

Well, the bottom stuff I can sorta get. But I don't exactly have the most mobile fighting style, or much to support on my chest.

I think comfort would be good though.

Yeah, I'm honestly like that too. And, trust me, you're still going to want something for general wear. It really will help.

[Lori glances towards the athletic wear section a bit.]

Or shall we try on more of your existing stuff first?

Tch. Fine. I guess we can do both, though I don't know about...well most of this stuff. I'm sure I'm going to fall on my face when it comes to trouser time.

We'll figure that one out quickly enough. You're adjusting faster than you think, really.

[Lori quickly goes and grabs a few items - of course, she measured Mir earlier - coming back with a light handful.]

This oughta be enough to try some varieties.

Right. I just have to...go back into the changing rooms for another half an hour.

[She does rub some of the fabric in her hands and look around in awe at the store though before shaking her head and walking into the changing room.]

R... Right. Erm, do you want help getting everything on quickly?

...I guess it would be better than spending fifteen minutes on buttons and stuff.

[The camera pointedly stays outside as Lori follows Mir in and closes the door.]

I don't know about any of this. Can't I just wear a normal jumpsuit?

Jumpsuits really aren't that normal in Venture. Or most places now. I don't even think they were common in Soviet-era Russia outside of certain professions.

All the people I ever met wore them, and so did I when I had a mission. I thought they were normal clothes.

... Consider you were working with KGB agents and scientists working on a highly specialized program. They would dress like you did - in the outfits they designated you to wear - to make you feel more comfortable.

But out here, it's something that stands out and spooks people. So. Yeah.

I...never thought about that. Nyet, seeing human beings was too special of an occasion to think about that sort of thing.

Still, I feel uncomfortable in a skirt.

Well, I can't blame you for that. I rather prefer pants myself.

...they're alright I guess. But the ones that are fashionable now are all tight.

... Well, yeah. YOu can get baggier fits, though, so I usually do that. Makes you less noticeable, too. That's nice.

[Lori seems to prioritize many things on 'not being obvious'.]

I guess. It helps keep the secret identity secret to dress like that, huh?
