[ It's a little refreshing that there was someone who didn't actually ask things about Date and his weird style, manner and speech problems. He takes a moment to align his thoughts to more mundane matters like names and such and tries to get his words to match. ]

Lost alias.

[ Yeah, he does have a hard time with words, even as simple as asking someone what their name was and why they were here. ]

[Thankfully for Date, Jack knows a thing or two about picking things apart, bizarre speech patterns included. It only takes a second for him to decipher just what exactly this kid's trying to tell him from context, a look of sudden realization coming over his face(?).]

Ah, that's right! I haven't introduced myself. Jack Skellington, at your service. [And a polite little bow.] I've applied to join the Omegafriends.

[ Date likes this guy. Not only is he understanding everything that he says without trying to shake him or throw him into walls, but he also has a face that the lover of all things edgy found beauty in. Date is actually blushing a little because of how cool this whole meeting is! ]

Dante.

[ He even refrains from doing his customary posing and does a simple sweeping the hair from his face and sparkling a little. ]

[If Jack knew anything about this guy, he'd be grateful for that courtesy at least. The sparkles are a very nice touch, though.]

It's a pleasure meeting you, Dante, really it is. Tell me, are you with the Omegafriends? You seem like the heroic sort.

[And he couldn't help but notice that fancy name badge there, but that's secondary.]

[ Date nods eagerly, still blushing a little and trying so hard to just not go into fits about how cool this is. It wasn't every day that a rocker meets someone that can grace the cover of any hard hitting rock star's album! ]

[ He's trying, he really is. He even confirmed his hero name and his basic standing among the group, although it was a little bit of a twist the way he says it. ]
