Oooh! Wow, you actually got up! Impressive, impressive~! For a rookie, you're pretty bold.

...But you're not such a good liar. Maybe you should quit while you've still got all your bones in one piece!

[She's twirling her parasol around a bit, back and forth...this really is a game to her. She gets close to Shooter and holds her by the chin..]

So cute, even when you're getting battered...I just want to play with you until you break...

[ Even though that's the third time this girl's invaded her personal space like that, it's no less startling and Shooter lets out a weak yelp of surprise -- she'd pull back but the moment she even thinks of doing so, her injured side flares angrily in pain.

Being stupid got her hit and being stupid would just get her beaten up. So she's going to have to be smart. ]

I'm n--not going to break, fighting someone like you!

[Nui gives a small "hmph" in response to that little outburst of hers. The hero in front of her definitely has persistence to spare, but if it goes on for too long, it just ends up getting boring.]

Geeeez, do you really not like me that much? Such a shame...and I thought we were making such a good connection...

Hup!

[And off she goes with another swing of her umbrella; this one is aimed right to the top of Shooter's head. She's not gonna want this one to make contact..]

[ Just as planned.

Her side screeches in protest as she swings her free arm, and there's a blur of fire and a cacophony of squealing metal and her cannon materializes over her arm. It meets Nui's umbrella with a terrific clang and screech that goes right through Shooter, but she grits her teeth and stands her ground. ]

W--what did I tell you? I'm not going to break and I'm not done yet!

Uwaah!!

[Nui gives a look of surprise as the cannon on Shooter's arm materializes and meets her parasol, which goes flying out of her hand...]

Woooow! You're a lot stronger than I thought you were! I'm reeeeally impressed! Gosh, maybe this means that now I should stop playing around and get a little serious! I mean, I was starting to think you weren't fit to be a hero, but golly, was I wrong!

Maybe I should pull out my secret weapon..? I think it might just be about that time!

[And so, with a flourish that only a grand couturier could give, Nui pulls out her true weapon; half of a purple fabric scissor, fit to be the size of a blade. She spins it around on its hilt as she lets it revolve around her body, until she finally points it out, right at Shooter's face!]

Ta-da! So, what do you think?

[ As Shooter jerks back in surprise, the pain in her side flares again and her teeth grit. Her breath comes out in a thin hiss from between her teeth, but she stands up straighter, still a little shaky, but her determination bolstered, curiously, by fear.

She really doesn't want to feel just how deep that blade cuts. ]

I guess it kind of suits you. I'm not really impressed, though.

[ she's trying to sound flippant and off-hand, but who knows if it's working. ]

Well, maybe that'll change once it nicks you! I mean, this thing is made out of some pretty serious stuff! Don't you want to see what it can do?

Actually, I'll show you!

[With another spin, she flashes her biggest smile as she takes the blade with two hands and goes in rushing for a horizontal slice! Shooter's really going to want to avoid this one, because it'll leave a really nasty cut if it lands..]

[ She's not sure if it's her imagination, but it seems to Shooter that the blade actually whistles as is cuts through the air. She yelps, and scrambles back, trying to put as much distance as she can between her and the blade.

It manages to slice a cut in her coat, even with just a nick, and she can feel herself starting to panic as she yanks her blade out of the ground.

She has a feeling her cannon isn't going to be enough. ]

Wh--what the hell is that thing made of?!
