"And I don't care if those idiots were there. Didn't you say you could handle them? I thought you had skills!" Augustus sighed and pinched the bridge of his noes. This was getting him nowhere. How did those Omegafriends know? He hadn't sold out Kevin. Though right now, the thug wasn't winning any favor with him. Maybe dropping a note off about his hiding place to a hero wasn't such a bad idea.

"Alright. We'll start over. Please tell me you didn't brag to them about what you were after."

"Of course not!" Kevin grew up on the streets, after all; He knew exactly what a big mouth got you. "Someone leaked it. You got a mole somewhere. They knew I would be there and they knew exactly how I was gettin' in." Kevin narrowed his eyes. "I know your gigs ain't exactly OSHA approved, but I can't say I'm too keen on doing any more jobs for you when you can't even keep your own info safe."

"Don't think this was my fault. I'm a one man show. If someone got the info, it wasn't from me. It was somewhere else. ...I'll do some digging. If someone is spying on me, I'll make sure they realize how big of a mistake it is." The Siamese leaned back in his chair and laced his fingers together.

"They didn't know you were after the Wonderflonium. This is good at least. It means if someone had info, they didn't have much. We'll try again soon. They won't expect something fast. And this time, I'll go with you. We need that Wonderflonium. My client isn't one to take failure well. I'll pay you double. That ought to cover the hassle you went through."
