[No, this can't happen. She can't let it happen. If only she hadn't been so stupid that one time, if she had just brought someone to watch her back... If she'd treated Tsubomi like a real partner, maybe she wouldn't be in this mess. Or maybe she would have gotten her killed. Or... if she'd joined the Omegafriends. If she'd had their help--
She shakes her head. "What ifs" of the past couldn't change the present. She is what she is. Powerless. Helpless. Tsubomi could die here and she can't do anything...]
If I could just... If there was any way for me to help her... If I could make up for the things I've done... I don't deserve it, but if I could just become Cure Moonlight again for even a minute...!
[Faintly, something beneath her shirt - the shard of her Precure Seed, hanging on a necklace - begins to glow, but she's so focused on the robot battling Cure Blossom that she doesn't notice it.]

[Tsubomi pushes herself up, body shaking in pain. She'd been hit, and she'd been hit hard... and though there was a large bruise on her face and tears in her eyes, she still maintained a look of determination]
You never stopped being Cure Moonlight! Not to me! You were in pain, Yuri! But I still looked up to you! Because I know... I know Cologne wouldn't have sacrificed himself for someone who wasn't a hero, all the way through!
[before she could say anything further, the robot dashed at her again. Tsubomi was quicker this time, ducking to the side... and inadvertently causing the machine to trip and stumble, falling with a heavy crash]
... I'll fight... [Tsubomi grit her teeth, as she tried to get up yet again] two times as hard... until you can realize... you'll always be a hero, Yuri!
[but there would be no more words. The thing had those quills for more than just a rolling attack... even as it lay on its back, it could aim and shoot them off... which it did, sending a volley of them speeding Tsubomi's way.
They didn't strike her, but the spikes did succeed in forcing and pinning Cure Blossom against a tree, with the Precure herself dazed from the sudden impact...]

However, that shock is broken as Blossom is pinned against the tree. She wants nothing more than to run to her side, to... to...
To do what, precisely?]
If the will is there, all you need do is ask... Moonlight.
[Suddenly, everything seems to freeze.
That voice... It's one she should not be able to hear anymore, under any circumstances. She chooses then to look down and pull out the remaining shard of her Precure Seed. It glows, pulsing with a faint power.]
Cologne...?
[Looking up, she sees what looks to be the faintest of outlines in the air before her. The shape of her lost partner's form. There's a gentle laugh from it.]
My body may have been destroyed, but my spirit... The Heart Tree has kept that intact. Simply waiting for your own heart to call out. To say what it is you want to do, so that the last my strength can be put to some use. In this moment, what is that?
[Her vision shakes, and blurs more than a little bit.] The last of your strength...
Moonlight. [His voice is suddenly a little bit sharper.] What is it you wish to do?
[She draws in a sharp breath, stares for just a moment longer... but then nods.] I want... I want to be a Precure again! I want to save my friend! I want to be able to save everyone! To protect everyone's hearts!
[The image of Cologne says nothing more. He just nods slowly, and... seems to vanish, though the remnants of his energy flow into the Precure Seed. Power then surges itself around Yuri, and without even reaching for it her Heart Perfume finds its way into her hands.]
Then, do as you must... Cure Moonlight.

[A magnificent flash of power erupts from where Yuri stands, and before their robotic attacker can fully advance on the subdued Cure Blossom, Cure Moonlight suddenly appears before her in a flash. There is a flurry of several strikes, aiming to dislodge or destroy the spikes holding her before she spins around, facing the machine.]
A flower glistening in the light of the moon! Cure Moonlight!
[Not thinking, only running on instinct and the moment, the suddenly re-empowered Moonlight stands her ground between the machine and Blossom.]
This will be as far as you go!

[the mechanoid stood, fixing its gaze on Cure Moonlight. Its gears and joints whirred, and its massive hands clenched into fists]
IMPOSSIBLE. NO BEING WITH SUPERNATURAL POTENTIAL HAD BEEN DETECTED PRIOR TO PREVIOUS SUBJECT. YOUR EXISTENCE DOES NOT COMPUTE.
[his eyes flared red, and he began charging at Moonlight with a wheel assisted speed boost]
YOU WILL BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE DOCTOR! EVERYTHING YOU ARE WILL BE TAKEN APART AND STUDIED FOR THE GLORY OF DR. EGGMAN!

[She gives a slight look at Blossom, and... smiles. Just lightly, not even acknowledging the robot's words.]
Blossom. Let's finish this before it has the chance to do anymore damage!
