[ As Shooter jerks back in surprise, the pain in her side flares again and her teeth grit. Her breath comes out in a thin hiss from between her teeth, but she stands up straighter, still a little shaky, but her determination bolstered, curiously, by fear.

She really doesn't want to feel just how deep that blade cuts. ]

I guess it kind of suits you. I'm not really impressed, though.

[ she's trying to sound flippant and off-hand, but who knows if it's working. ]

Well, maybe that'll change once it nicks you! I mean, this thing is made out of some pretty serious stuff! Don't you want to see what it can do?

Actually, I'll show you!

[With another spin, she flashes her biggest smile as she takes the blade with two hands and goes in rushing for a horizontal slice! Shooter's really going to want to avoid this one, because it'll leave a really nasty cut if it lands..]

[ She's not sure if it's her imagination, but it seems to Shooter that the blade actually whistles as is cuts through the air. She yelps, and scrambles back, trying to put as much distance as she can between her and the blade.

It manages to slice a cut in her coat, even with just a nick, and she can feel herself starting to panic as she yanks her blade out of the ground.

She has a feeling her cannon isn't going to be enough. ]
