[ Alvin doesn't say anything at first, firing off another shot at an approaching Deviobots. Unlike the last time though, this shot doesn't do more than just make the thing stagger back a bit. So he fires again, to the same result. They were getting closer now, and soon he was going to have to rely on hand to hand.

And there's nothing an non-powered person likes more than fighting evil robot minions with no superpowers. Alvin totally didn't have anything else planned for today, nope. ]

If you can fight then get up and prove it! I don't exactly have powers to take these things down, and I doubt I'm the only one who's trying anyway.

...R-Right!

[So mean.

But even so, she does listen to him. As another Deviobot gets close, Yayoi launches herself at it, knocking it back into another one with a punch. With some distance between them now, she takes a deep breath.]

Okay, here goes... [She concentrates, gathering up power, and then...]

Precure! [She lets out an undignified whimper as a bolt of lightning strikes her, but she's staying strong as she absorbs it, spins around...] Peace Thunder! [...and sends the lightning straight at the Deviobots. The two she knocked back earlier instantly start malfunctioning from the shock, disabling them.

She nervously looks back at Alvin.]

Was that better?

[ Sorry kid. This was a battlefield. You don't get far by being nice. But when Peace knocks one of those bots back, and then, you know, shoots lightning at them, he can't help but be relieved.

Shifting his gun back to the explosive chamber, he hastily goes to reload, pulling a rather large slug out of his jacket. How does he have stuff like this as a PI? Who knows, it's just part of his charm. ]

Yep. Definitely better. [ He finishes reloading, and then immediately fires at a Deviobot that was about to attack from behind the girl, a similar explosion like the first time dropping it to the ground. ]

But it's not over yet, so keep your eyes on the robots!

[She grins widely at first, but then that explosion happens behind her and she yelps. She almost stumbles back onto the ground, but she regains her balance just in time.

She nervously glances at the the downed Deviobot and then back to Alvin.]

Aheh...heh... Right. Sorry.

[The next Deviobot that comes too close gets a kick for its troubles, sending it flying back. Not enough to down it, but enough to give her some more space.]

Geez... Why are there so many of them?!

The guy who makes this things is named Dr. Devious. He's probably just doing it to get a good laugh. [ Or because he wanted something specific. Or thought that he could kill all the heroes with the bot swarm despite this failing almost every week.

The point was, neither of them were going to figure things out right now, and he goes to reload again. ]

I only have three more of those shots, so I need to make them count. You're the one with the powers here, so stopping most of these things is up to you. Think you can handle it?
