Well, you two can keep each other occupied. I prefer to keep things street level, give the troubled kids a stern talking to, maybe a little bomb-squad help. I can't do this stuff full time, fun as it is.

Oh, of course, of course. I completely recognize that not all of the Omegafriends can be as epically effective against the echelons of evil as yours truly. ... And besides that, some of us are color-blind. We don't want to let any of them near bombs. Think of the collateral damage paperwork.

Well, all that, and I have to leave town for work and can't exactly come back on short notice. So we do what we can, at the speeds that we can.

Oh, we've got car pools. I just have to go out of the country sometimes. Sometimes those little business trips last two weeks or more, and it's not really practical to get back in a hurry.
