A quick block against the strike to the face left Kallen open, and thus easily tripped by the leg sweep, knocking her down.

"Gah!"

Wow, he can not believe that worked. I mean, he is Croach the Tracker, not Croach the Good At Fighting. He should be Croach the Good At Fighting. Or maybe Croach the Best At Onus Talibration. Croach the Handsome would be great too.

Oh right. Crimefighting. He moves to try and stick an arrow into one of her sleeve, keeping her on the ground. Maybe this will work? Maybe it won't.

"My onus would increase were you to stay down."

That probably won't work.

The shot probably would work better on looser sleeves, but the shot did lightly cut into her arm, sending her other reflexively onto the shoulder.

"Gah... You..."

... She couldn't fight like this. Not yet. She'd just have to try again later. Using her unhurt arm as a brace, she lifted her claw... And launched it out, moving out to the rafters.

Croach can't help but stumble backward the movement. He can only watch in surprise as she seems to escape his grasp.

"...The onus has increased."

He can never seem to figure out when to stop talking about the whole onus thing.

Kallen's quick movement sent her clear fairly quickly. At this point, she'd failed - getting away was now her best move.
