[That's when Cologne suddenly flies in front of the last blast. Whatever energy the little fairy has in him surges out in an instant, resulting in a massive explosion but nothing compared to what would have happened had it head Moonlight head on. He's blown back by the impact, slamming into Moonlight's chest, the force sending her tumbling back across the rooftop.
As she lands, she clutches Cologne in her arms, gazing down at him in disbelief.]
C-Cologne...
[He opens his eyes, briefly, but its clearly about all her can do besides smile. Gently. Happily.]
Thank goodness... You're okay...
[His body darkens.]
Good-bye... Moonlight...
[His eyes close, and he darkens further before his body just... dissolves in her hands, drifting away in the wind.
For a heartbeat, she just sits there. That... couldn't have just happened, right? But then the reality of it all collides with her, tears welling in her eyes. Her heart aches, feelings as though its just been ripped out and stomped on.]
COLOGNE!
[But, even as tears fall from her eyes, she knows she's not alone.
...actually, she is alone, now. Against many who want to end her, and had just... taken Cologne from her. Her shoulders shake, her hand tightening on the grip of her Moon Tact, but she slowly starts to rise, wordlessly for the moment.]

Even as Moonlight weeps for her lost friend, her enemies laugh.
And then there's Skeletor, the one who claimed that life, standing amid the fires started by their battle, standing triumphant, a black stain in the angry red light.]
What a sickeningly touching display of loyalty. [The sneer is evident in his voice.] And, ultimately, pointless.
[He levels the staff at Moonlight again, power gathering up in the eyes.]
Farewell, Precure.

Gritting her teeth, she thrusts out her Moon Tact, power suddenly erupting around her with greater intensity than she can remember. It's the power she thinks she needs, even as she can feel a surge through her that tells her its far too much. But she ignores it for now.]
PRECURE! FLORAL POWER FORTISSIMO!
[That power engulfs her and she takes off like a small meteor, the energy aura a buffer as she smashes into anything that stands in her path. Particularly, each and every Evil Warrior within the immediate vicinity, save for Skeletor himself.]

[Skeletor raises a hand against the sudden blinding light that explodes off of Moonlight. By the time he looks again, she's already in the air.]
What are you doing, you fools? Stop her!
[The Evil Warriors that can fire back, attempt to do just that but to no avail. One by one, the Fortissimo sweeps them from the rooftop to be snatched from the air by the griffon-like creatures that Beastman commands, and all of them flee from Moonlight's wrath.]
COWARDS!
[There would be punishments doled out for this, of that everyone can be certain. But for now, Skeletor stays where he is, clutching the glowing Havoc Staff while he watches Moonlight's path and braces himself for her attack.]

She's not sure what she was expecting to happen. Really, she shouldn't be surprised when the whole thing explodes and she's flung back, slamming hard into the rooftop. Even as the fireball rises, so too does she try to, though struggling in pain as flickers of energy run across her body. Skeletor was still there, after all, if nothing else.]
Y- you... you won't... get away with this...

NO! [He brings his staff to bear on Moonlight, but it's too late. The barrier of energy gives way, crystals shatter and the matrix holding the gathered power collapses.] NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
[Skeletor's enraged howl is lost in the explosion that consumes the rooftop, blowing even him off his feet in a rain of fire and rubble. The portal, so close to being complete, flickers and vanishes.
Debris continues to rain down, and even as Moonlight gets back to her feet the heap of rubble that had buried her enemy explodes in a flash of light and he stands, red eyelights burning with unrestrained fury. His power crackles around him, and the fire itself swirls up into the air over him, responding to his anger.]
Impudent... wretched... CHILD! You will suffer dearly for this!
[Without another word, he unleashes another blast of magic. This one, however, is not a killing blow. Not for lack of ability to do so, but simply destroying Moonlight is no longer enough to satisfy him.]

She tries to summon a barrier with what little strength she has but it shatters. So does her dress, leaving her in only another simple, long and glowing dress - she stands mostly unprotected, save for whatever energy she has left being funneled out into Skeletor's blast, channeled through her Precure Seed now held in hand. It pushes it back for a few moments, at least... but it isn't enough. It can't possibly be enough.]
Cologne... Tsubomi... I'm sorry...!
[She failed. If only she had listened, at least maybe then she wouldn't be alone now. But she is, with little she can do otherwise.
Finally, the Seed cracks. Even if not meant to kill her, there's also the reaction of Yuri's power to take into account. The result is another explosion, massive enough to take off a chunk of the roof itself - and send Yuri hurtling towards her apparent doom.]

Another explosion rocks the building, forcing him to raise an arm to shield himself from the force and when he lowers it he's alone on the rooftop. Snarling, he looks around at his creation but even now he can tell it's unsalvageable. All that time and work... lost. It's infuriating but... at the very least, he's rid himself of one of those accursed heroes. Sweeping his cloak around, he turns to leave as another of the griffons alights on the building when a faint glimmer catches his eye.]
Hm? [Pausing for a moment, he walks toward the object and reaches down to pick up one half of Moonlight's Precure Seed studying it in his clawed hand.] Interesting. Perhaps this night was not a complete failure after all.
[There's no time to stand around and muse about future plots, however, and he clenches his fist around the small gem before swinging up onto the griffon's back. With a sharp cry, the beast spreads its wings and takes to the air, carrying its master away from the battleground and Cologne's final resting place....]

[Why does nobody ever have their fights on the ground? She's got to choose between letting the skeleton on griffon-back get away, or saving the life of the wounded girl.]
[As if there's actually a choice.]
[A streak of black and green closes in on Moonlight's form as Silverwing picks up speed, passing terminal velocity easily. She outstreches her arms as she reaches Moonlight, and delicately catches her. She immediately begins to decelerate then. Nothing sudden, nothing jarring, she knows better than to fight gravity like that.]

He transformation is messed up, as well - her hair and eyes remains, for the moment, as it is when transformed fully, even if the rest of her isn't as such.
She's quite surprised then when she's caught, and not fully conscious of the fact for the moment. In a city full of Supers, someone catching a random person falling off a building should not actually be that surprising, but here she is.]
Y- you...
[It's weak, and so is she, barely holding on to consciousness.]

[They level out gradually, and Silverwing looks up at the damaged building before looking back at Moonlight.]

[Moonlight's eyes widen a bit, but she shifts her head so that her hair falls over them. She doesn't want to look up. She can't. She just holds the crystal and device close to her chest, doing her best to keep everything in.]
No... nothing's up there. Not anymore...

You have my deepest sympathies, but right now... We've got to get you to safety.
[Silverwing descends towards street level with Moonlight in her arms, looking for a phone booth to get into the base. Ugh, she would do horrible things for super strength right about now.]
I need you to stay with me, for now. What's your name?

[There's a flicker of surprise on her face, as she looks down at the broken Precure Seed in her hand.]
I was... Cure Moonlight...
[Her hand drops, though she still keeps the crystal held tight.]
That's not... possible any more...

[She spares a glance down to Moonlight's hand, and the broken seed peeking between her fingers.]
I'll try to give you a pep talk a little later, once we've made sure you're recovering.
Magic, I'm guessing? Whatever that thing is you're holding?

...yes, its... magic.
[She supposes that's the best way to put it anyhow. As it is, she feels like she's about to pass out at any moment. It really doesn't feel... like any of this should be. It couldn't be. Maybe she can just... wake up a little while from now, and realize it was all a dream. Or a nightmare.]

Can you do that for me, Moonlight?
[She's worried sick about this girl who's barely holding on. She clearly went through some trauma up there on top of whatever caused that explosion, and she seems to be shutting down.]
[In the meanwhile, there's a phone booth. Now comes the fun part. Getting two women, one badly injured, into a tight phonebooth, and then activating the teleporter.]

[ It feels terrible to ask that of someone right now. She doesn't really have the right, does she? Especially as this woman is already trying to help her, but... ]

[Silverwing squeezes into the Phone Booth with her then, and she smiles slightly.]
