[ As it happens, Lady Blue's trail has led straight to Venture Aquarium! The next clue apparently "sleeps with the fishes, guarded by the most delicious". Why can't she just leave her minions text messages like everyone else? Because that's how she rolls. At least they're easy to intercept. In theory. ]
It's got to be the tuna. Everyone likes tuna!

[ Your wicked shenanigans were coming along swimmingly when suddenly, a booming voice rings out from the top of the nearest elevated flat surface. It's coming from a very beefy man in a very flashy butterfly mask. ]
Not so fast, evil-doer! In the name of justice, this fist! In the name of truth, these muscles!
[ If you've crossed plans with Grand Papillion before, you've probably already heard this exact intro or variations on it. And he's still got a respectable amount of it to go through. It would be polite to let him finish either way, but politeness is not necessarily a common trait in the fine tradition of supercriminals. ]

Are you sure about that? I always thought mackerel tasted pretty good too.

[ Why does Grand Papillion know so much about fish... and why has he never been seen in the same room with local sushi purveyor Joachim Valentine? The world may never know. ]

[A beat.]
But if they're among the fishes, how are we supposed to get down there and check?

...How good are you at holding your breath?
no subject
Um, not very good.
[Okay, apparently they didn't think their cunning plan all the way through.]

...It's an aquarium, right? They're bound to have those scuba masks somewhere around here!

[ GLOOM. She's not very good at riddles. ]
Maybe it's supposed to be a pun?
no subject
[ Puzzles aren't his strong suit either. ]
...Well, I can't think of anything right now! I'm a man of action! And you're a girl of action! There's no time to stand around pondering wordplay while the park is at stake!
[ Is he taking the lid off the octopus tank why yes he is. Subtlety is even less his suit than puzzles are. ]

[ look out she's getting PUMPED and even assists in the heaving of the lead of the octopus tank.
And then peers into the tank with a rather worried look on her face. She has a feeling that just peering in isn't going to let them work out of what they're looking for is actually here without...
... going in. Uh. ]
... you can swim, right?
no subject
[ That doesn't even make sense, Joachim. ]
...Can you?
[ The tank isn't super deep, although it's definitely going to be over his head. Meaning waaay over Shooter's head. It contains an abundance of sea vegetation and several octopi of various sizes. ]

I can swim but... well, not underwater. And not with a bunch of octopus... octopusses. Ugh.
[ making an even more grossed out face. ]

[ An enterprising octopus suckers its way up the side of the tank to sweet, sweet freedom. ]
no subject
[ THAT SURE IS AN OCTOPUS ENTIRELY TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT
She recoils, taking several steps away from the tank, pointing accusingly. ]
They're trying to get out! I'm not going in there, I'm not, I'm not!
no subject
Joachim tries to pick one up and throw it back in. It's a clingy little fella. ]
Look on the bright side! If they all run away, you won't have to worry about them getting to you in the tank!
no subject
At least when they're in the tank I can see where they are!

[ Nevertheless, to the sardines! ...Gosh. Those are a lot of sardines. A helpful placard by the tank informs the heroes that it is, in fact, a literal ton of sardines. ]
...I hope we don't have to search them one by one.
