[How is a girl supposed to help people get cats out of trees and help lost children when there's evil robots everywhere? Only one thing to do! GRAB A ROBOT AND USE HIM TO HIT ANOTHER ROBOT! Cure Lovely is here to beat up the bad guys and bring love to everyone!]

[the robot Lovely is currently using to trash a Deviobot is in fact a badnik... a fact that becomes apparent once a small animal pops out of it once it impacts with the other machine]

That's one of mine, you insipid do-gooder! I'm trying to stop this invasion! No one can conquer this city save Dr. Eggman!

[Lovely spots the animal pop out in confusion and then looks at Eggman, she frowns]

Hey, you can't stop a bad guy by doing other bad guy stuff!

Are you seriously going to argue about this with me?! I'm trying to stop this invasion same as you, you gaudily dressed ballerina!

That doesn't make it okay!

[Says this while punching a hole into one of the Deviobots]

We'll just have to talk about it later.

Hmph! As if I'd indulge such a thing! Badniks, ATTACK!

[Eggman pointed dramatically, and on his command, a swarm of Buzzbombers began backing Cure Lovely up]

[Cure Lovely is initiating beam spam mode with her attacks so that works out pretty well with the bombardment]

[as the battle progresses, Eggman sits back in his Eggmobile, arms crossed]

... so... on what principle do your powers operate? Are you a mutant of some kind?

I don't even have any extra eyes or anything.

[And yet she was shooting eye lasers earlier]

... Yes, but you do have powers. They have to come from somewhere. I mean, they couldn't possibly be magic, could they?

I mean, it seems like what they are. It's all powered by courage and happiness and love!

It's fairy-tale hogwash! Magic is just phenomena that haven't been quantified by science! There's no way a force could be influenced by love and courage!

[Casually German suplexes a Deviobot]

[She stops as she holds an enemy under her arm as if she's about to noogie it]

Wow.

[Okay. Okay, yeah. Of all the things, Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden expected to see today, a pink-haired teenager in a frilly and equally pink dress bashing robots with robots was not one of them. The Only Wizard In the Phone Book blinks for a second before catching sight of another Deviobot raising its laser... arm... thingie in Lovely's direction.

Not on his watch it ain't.]

Forzare!

[An invisible, cannonball of kinetic kinetic explodes from the foot-long stick of carved wood in his hand with enough backdraft to kick his long, black duster up, shoots across the street and blows the entire top half off the 'bot. Severed and smashed circuits spark once or twice before the legs drop over as well.]

Hey, kid, top points for getting creative but don't forget to watch your back!

[She notices the explosion and waves to him]

[And then she turns back into the fray and fires eye lasers taking out a mass of em...yes really]

[Alright, this time he's pretty sure he's seen everything and considering who he is, that's saying something.

No time to focus too much on that though, as a gang of 'bots come rushing at him but it does give him an idea. Focusing in on a gang of marching robots, he raises a hand toward them and hisses out a word.]

Malivaso!

[One of the Deviobots freezes in its tracks, and its head twitches once or twice and then it lets out a robotic screech and its head starts spinning around... and firing a beam of energy from its own eyes that melts the heads off the bots around it. And then its head explodes as well.]

Heh. I love robots.
