[Someone crying out for help is pretty normal during a robot attack like this. Except, uh. That's not a civilian. That is, in fact, Cure Peace running away from a group of Deviobots while screaming.

She... could probably use some assistance.

[That's not a cry of help, loud though it may be. No, that's a cry of excitement and wonder. Yayoi is having tons of fun looking around the Omegabase, as this is her first time here. Seriously, there's practically stars in her eyes as she stops to stare at everything.]

This is... This is perfect! It's exactly like a secret base should be! I never thought I'd get to see a real one with my own two eyes!

Well, all that, and I have to leave town for work and can't exactly come back on short notice. So we do what we can, at the speeds that we can.

She.. actually ignores Eva for the first few seconds, taking in the home decor and such. But after that moment, she gives a disturbingly fake smile and helps herself to a free seat. ]

[It's a bad habit, monologuing, but it comes with the villainous territory. Skeletor turns at the interruption, growling at the Man of Steel even as the Evil Warriors cast nervous looks between themselves, suddenly looking and feeling much less confident in this plan than they did a moment ago.]

Surrender? [He chuckles.] I... think not.

[Still, there is a time for a monologue and this isn't it. Eyes lighting up with angry red light, he brings the Havoc Staff forward and unleashes a blast of raw, destructive magic at the Kryptonian.]

Really? And what brilliant insight led you to believe that the Dragon's Flame, one of the most potent and ancient magical artifacts in the world is trash?

Are you serious!?

[ Alvin has no idea how the heck this could be possible, but apparently one of the brand new super'heroes' in this city was a completely idiot. Sure, she was a young girl, but that was no excuse. Most of the heroes here were young. He points his gun at one of the nearest Deviobots, firing it and watching as its head explodes in a massive burst of flame.

He might not have powers himself, but he wasn't stupid enough not to carry ammo that could deal with robots like this on him. Of course, something powerful like that only gets the other robots attention... and he needs to reload, because those bullets took up way too much room in the chamber dedicated to them to actually load more than one of them.

Alvin shifts it to another chamber, this wouldn't really work all that well on these things but better than nothing. Still, he's been in worse situations. ]

If you can't fight, then what are you even doing out here?

[ Hello, Omegafriend! Are you currently engaged in heroics? Fighting off villainy? ...Just out and about in costume?

In that case, there's a teenager girl just off to the side giving off the most fangirlish aura possible. Watching you. She looks like she might just squeal in joy.

Seriously. She's a fangirl. Do with her what you will. ]

[ Hello, non-Omegafriend and/or Omegafriend in civvies. Wherever you are, there's a teenage girl here browsing through a superhero comic book. But when you venture a little too close, she takes that to mean you want to, like, initiate some sort of socialization or something.

Ruby's not good at socialization. ]

Oh! Hey, did you see the news this morning? Or, uh, read the newspaper? The Omegafriends took down Dr. Devious again yesterday! Isn't that so cool!?

[ ...Knowing Ruby's luck, she's either talking to somebody who helped take them down, or somebody who was taken down along with him. ]

[ Ruby attends Normal Boring High School (TM), name pending, which is where all the normal and boring people go. She's a freshman, yay, woo, and happens to be going about her day in a completely normal fashion. If by completely normal you mean "geeky and a Super fangirl." Reading comics during class, posting pictures of various Supers in her locker, yeah that's all Ruby.

If your character dare associate with her, they run the risk of having their social life forever ruined. Will they dare? ]

[ AND NOW ACTUAL COMBAT!

So yes, the Omegafriends are facing off against Dr. Devious's army of Deviobots. But what's that, some girl is being attacked? She's obviously nor a superhero, judging by her complete lack of costume and the silly dress she's wearing.

Except she... pulls out a small metal box she had strapped to her hip. And it... unfolds.... into a giant scythe.

And now she's cutting robots in half. Huh. She's still not an Omegafriend though, so... what? ]

[As if things weren't bad enough for poor Yayoi, she trips as she's running away and lands right on her face. She feels like just lying there and crying, but then she sees Alvin. She quickly gets up while he shoots one of the Deviobots.

She's about to thank him, but then he starts talking. Geez, Alvin. Harsh.]

I... Well I...

[She was already feeling down, but this just made it all the worse.]

I can fight! B-But... there were a lot more than I thought. [Oh geez, are those tears forming in her eyes?] I'm sorry!

Perhaps a sign he's in the wrong line of work?

[Clark hadn't expected him to take the offer of surrender, but it would have been nice. He takes off, banking hard to one side to avoid the Havoc Staff's blast. Getting hit by that thing once was enough to know that he'd rather avoid that. Then, he accelerates, shooting at Skeletor like a ballistic missile. Hopefully the impact would stun him and give Clark a chance to get that staff away from him.]

[ There's a little girl who seems to be working with the robots. She limps along behind them, a cruel and sadistic expression on her face as she watches the civilians flee. ]

Ahahahahaha!! Run away, you sniveling cowards! Yes, yes yes yes! It's time to watch this pathetic city burn to the ground!

[ As she says that, she gestures out with one hand, fire springing from her fingertips and catching several buildings to he right on fire. ]

I don't like working with this clod, but if I get to do this, it's not so bad! Ahahahaha!!

[ This time, the scene is a park. Agria seems to be... feeding the pigeons? One in particular is actually perched on her shoulder.

Wow, holy crap, she actually looks.... kind of normal. no psychotic expression, evil laugh, actually... maybe... smiling?

...It all changes when she sees somebody else approach. Her face turns to a sneer, and she reaches down, pulling out a rod that transforms into a weird sword with three blades. ] What do you want? I'd recommend you leave, unless you want to wind up as roasted shishkabob.

[ She tries to shoo the birds, but they.... just stay there. Looks like they're not afraid of her in the slightest. :/ ]

Ben eagerly took the hoverboard, looking over it with great interest. "This has to be the coolest thing ever. How do you get it to fly?"

Prepare yourself for the start of a technical explanation, Ben. Tails isn't that good at simplifying technical stuff even though he does try. But he also takes the board and turns it over so Ben can see the part he's explaining. So hopefully he'll get the gist which is that it uses an air tank for everything.

A ha ha ha!! You really think you can stop me, you little zit? You're nothing but a pathetic little girl!

[ Agria is perched on top of her sword, driven into the ground, and fire burns all around her. She doesn't look at all worried. Really, what can one little hero do to stop her?

She gets off of her sword, then pulls it out of the ground with one hand, pointing it towards Cure Peace. ]

I'll give you five seconds to run away with your tail between your legs. And then maybe I'll let you live.

Ben was able to follow along up until a point before everything flew over his head. However, he seized desperately upon the air tank.

"So it's kind of like air hockey only it's the puck shooting out air instead of the table?"

All right. I'll be careful. [She says, but Itsuki's running into the opening Moonlight's created at top speed, seeming to almost float across the ground for a moment. Once she reaches the thing, she starts to realize exactly how big this thing is... and it's making her blood pump. Pushing her arms out in front of her, she pushes her arms out in front of her, making another shield out of habit; it turns out to be the right idea, as it blocks an incoming swipe at her.

Taking another deep breath, she crouches, before she jumps into the air, sweeping out with an airborne kick into the shield and pushing it toward the robot, where it connects and pushes the thing off-balance. As Sunshine lands, she looks back at Moonlight.]

Now's our chance!

"You know, that's a pretty good way to think about it," Tails said. At least for someone who he could see had kind of gotten lost. "And the tank can be filled manually or by doing tricks, before the tanks empty."

[ Alvin doesn't say anything at first, firing off another shot at an approaching Deviobots. Unlike the last time though, this shot doesn't do more than just make the thing stagger back a bit. So he fires again, to the same result. They were getting closer now, and soon he was going to have to rely on hand to hand.

And there's nothing an non-powered person likes more than fighting evil robot minions with no superpowers. Alvin totally didn't have anything else planned for today, nope. ]

If you can fight then get up and prove it! I don't exactly have powers to take these things down, and I doubt I'm the only one who's trying anyway.
