1. Venture City in Peril! Dr. Devious’s army of Deviobots are ransacking the city! It’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel this sinister threat.

2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

Protector can wait. I should get you back to the Omegabase, you definitely need patching up. I owe you that much, at least.

Yeah, that sounds good. And hey, don't worry, if I'm not falling over, I'll be right as rain by nightfall.

[Oh man, that bench is very inviting. So he wobbles over and carefully sits down, wincing behind the helmet. But he very carefully doesn't lean backwards.]

[She follows as he wobbles along, sits right beside him, still transformed - it's not safe to detransform here, not when there was the potential of prying eyes. She doesn't say anything for a time, head bowed, the girl twiddling her thumbs nervously.

It's a bit of a weird sight, to be sure - a shambled looking astronaut and a feathery looking magical girl on a bench together amidst a scene of destroyed robots - but strangely not too out of place. This was Venture City after all, anything was possible.]

I really am sorry.

[She doesn't look like she's going to cry this time, at least, but she sounds pretty sad. He might have insisted otherwise, but it's clear she's still beating herself up about it.]

Well hey, compared to discovering that your sub-contractor was the lowest bidder for a reason on the parachute contract, I can safely say that sucked less. I mean, slamming into the ground at 200 miles an hour is a heck of a way to learn that you have superpowers, yeah?

[He's serious about that one by the way, though officially, nothing of the sort ever happened. Ahhh, cover-ups of the embarrassing failures of your space program. Fortunately, nobody died, but still, Jeb doesn't like getting into phone booths anymore-which can be a problem in this town.]

Anyways, you did good out there. The reflection thing especially-that's going to be all kinds of useful, I can tell. Get some parabolic reflecting shield, and bounce shots anywhere you want them.

[He says it in such a casual tone that she just can't help smiling - it's a good thing. A smile looks nicer on her anyways. The praise makes her cheeks tint pink a little - but she clearly appreciates it, even if...]

Parabolic what?

[...the science things kinda fly over her head.]

Ahh, something curved so it reflects everything to a single point. Like a satellite dish? Lotta math involved in it, but if you could just tweak the shapes of your shields a bit once you make them you wouldn't have to bother with getting it just right the first time.

[Kids these days. What do they teach in these schools?]

[C'mon now, Jeb, she's only 16 after all.]

Oh! That sounds pretty cool! Like a sorta pow-pow-pow kinda thing?

[She makes a zigzag motion with her arms. At the very least, she does seem really interested!]

[Jeb was doing rocket science in high school! And no other science, jegus.]

Something like that yeah. It's kinda like how a telescope will take all the light that lands on a spot a meter or so across and focus that into your eye.

[Well everyone's not an amazing rocket scientist, Jeb, GOSH.]

Eheheh, you're pretty knowledgeable about all this stuff!

[She's saying it because it's definitely true - but also because she's starting to get a little lost with the science talk.]

Must be your dayjob, right?

Hey, space suits aren't easy to come by. But ehhh, you didn't hear me admit anything of the sort, right? I mean, I wouldn't want to have to ask how your grades are holding up with all this excitement.

[Secret identities, right?]

[That earns a laugh. And then a shrug.]

Never been the best student anyways, no one's noticed much of a difference.

[And any night owl business had been attributed to teenagers being teenagers.]

Think you're ready to haul it back to the base?

Y-yeah, I think I can get back there from here. And then back home to get out of this suit. I think I'm starting to smell like rubbery burned bacon.

Well, I can at least get you back to the Omegabase, mister!

[And she's smiling, but she definitely looks pretty serious about it. Sorry Jeb, you're not gonna shake this kid off.]

...I suppose you can! Now give me a hand up, my old back isn't what it used to be.

[He's not infirm or anything-just stiff from the impact of slamming into the ground like he did.]

[She cringes briefly, still guilty, but she definitely does offer a hand, pulling him up to his feet. Good thing she's still transformed - there's no way she could have done that normally!

And so she gets him back to the Omegabase. Yay! It doesn't occur to her until much later she actually...has no idea who he is. And she hadn't even given him her name! Gah, she really IS the worst.

But, well, they're both Omegafriends, so they'll see each other around, right...?]
