2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

5. The Mighty Showdown! In the life of a Super, good and evil are always clashing in battle. Today, you’ve come face to face with one of the many supervillains threatening the future of Venture City! Who will rise and who will fall? Next issue: The shocking answer!

[Ky, meanwhile, already has his sword drawn. He wasn't about to ignore a crime, after all -- he was part of the Omegafriends, and he always believed in doing the right thing.]

And ignore a person in need? Never. Instead, I recommend you surrender immediately, and your punishment will be more lenient.

I'm afraid I don't have time for that.

[She takes a step back into a fighting stance and draws her sword in one fluid motion. This narrow alley isn't exactly suited for her fighting style, but she fortunately appears to have found someone who uses the same weapon.]

I don't have any reason to hurt you tonight, but I can't let myself be arrested right now. I'll try to leave you alive, at least.

I think you're putting the cart before the horse. This is all assuming you can best me in combat, which is something you don't know whether or not you can do.

[Ky assumes his own fighting stance and plants his feet down.]

This is your last warning. Bear in mind that I am not your average swordsman.

Nor am I.

[Having had enough banter for now, she launches herself forward in a charge with an overhand slash meant to put Ky on the defensive. All she really needs to do here is force him back.]

[Rather than going on the defensive, Ky strikes up to meet her blow. Then, with impressive speed, whirls himself around to bring his own blade toward his opponent's waist.]

[Signum finds herself lightly stepping back instead, staying just out of reach of the hero's sword. She doesn't attempt to block yet; let him overextend himself into a wall if he wants to.]

[She follows up with a quick lunge to either get a feel for his strategy or give him a nice facial wound to think about.]
