We had a fantastic response to opening the game, and now it's time to get ready for the real launch!

This is a post for AU plotting. Do your characters already know each other? Do you want to introduce some new elements to the setting, and let other people use them, too? Do you want to establish some villain teams to work together against the Omegafriends? Just want to decide where future plots will be going, or who will be rivals with who? You can do all of that here!

You can freeform it if you want, but here's a form you can use:

Character: Ryuko Matoi

Character Overview: You know that one type of shounen hero? The one who's sort of a juvenile delinquent and is all hot-blooded and grumpy and speaks really informally and doesn't play by other people's rules but always does the right thing? Ryuko is the girl version of that. Also she has a magical outfit named Senketsu that gives her superpowers. He can talk, but only she can hear him.

Affiliation: Omegafriends, almost certainly.

Looking forward: I really just want to do the standard teen hero thing with Ryuko--make Senketsu's combat mode less of a stupid fanservice design, beat up bad guys, do terribly in school because she's so busy beating up bad guys, have one of the dumbest cases of Clark Kent Syndrome in the city (her hair is different in combat mode, but she has a very distinctive red streak in it either way. People think she dyed it like that because she's a fangirl of herself. ((Actual fangirls criticize her for not bothering with the full hair gel approach.)))

Possible CR Hooks: There's enough of a KLK cast looking at the game that I don't think there's anything plot-related, but she totally needs school friends either way. Maybe someone who actually gets good grades she can constantly ask to cheat off of? Or hey, maybe a teacher who's a super and knows what's up.

I am looking for: Well, classmates, like I said. Also, maybe some goofier villains as rivals. She can be a quipper when she fights someone she doesn't take very seriously.

How about she is a friend of a painfully shy but smart guy that's on the school's think tank group and is easily manipulated to give over answers even though he too is an omegafriend though he has a small crush on a super villain.

He also has a totally different personality when he's being a superhero and fronting his garage band.

Ironically, it being really easy to get answers off him would make her feel too guilty to do it. She's not above weedling friends into letting her take a shortcut, but she's totally above walking all over people who won't tell her no.

On the other hand, that's all the more reason she'd hang out with him and try to teach him about Backbone and Standing Up For Himself.

He's... well has a speech problem to the point that you might as well be one of those extremely smart people that spend all day long figuring out the meanings to really weird words. He also tries to say what he wants to say with as little words as he can.

Such as 'Descended rhapsody' aka 'something fell from the sky right'?

So it might be easier for him to hand over the papers instead of getting strangled XD

But oh yes, that is something he would need since outside of his persona on stage/in superhero mode, he definitely has the shy act down pat.

If you are looking for a non-fanservice Senketsu, how about this?

Oh, I was gonna look for Senketsu redesigns eventually but that's a good one... I mean ironically the art is kind of More Grimdark which is the opposite of the AU, but hey, it works for an example.

It's actually...kind of hard to find Senketsu redesigns that completely eschew the fanservice!

As in that was the only one I found.

Still wanting to play things post-relation revelations and so forth? I HAVE SOME MORE SPECIFIC THOUGHTS, but hitting that first and seeing if you've got anymore you want to lay out there. :D

All I want out of life is domestic (or as domestic as Ryuko and Satsuki get) sibling bickering over superhero business. Did you have any suggestions you didn't lay out in your own top-level?

...I actually thought I did, but then I looked back and realized I did lay down a lot of them in my top-level, ahahaha. Whoops.

Regardless, domestic sibling bickering while having to share the same living space is one of those things I really want out of playing Satsuki against a Ryuko in the first place, so I'm totally with that. (Especially since I have the other end of the spectrum, the antagonistic rivalry beginning, in another AU game.)

She probably rides her pretty hard about those grades, now that all's said and done with Mommy Dearest, for one thing at least.

And like mentioned on Plurk before, the proper means of subduing perps like you standard muggers, bank robbers, or mad scientists threatening to drop an asteroid on Venture City before dusk falls.

She's not even going to pretend to consider him a threat. "You AGAIN?"

The only person who can take Takarada seriously is Takarada, and nobody listens to him anyway.

The fact that he gets super pissed when people just disregard his status as a huge badass for real you guys doesn't help much.
