The grapple line pulls the two of them up and over the edge of a rooftop, where he lands in a crouch just ahead of a few parting plasma shots. The bolts of superheated energy strike the roof just behind them and he quickly drapes his cape around Peace, shielding the both of them from the rain of burnt rock and steel that fall around them.
The attack only lasts a few seconds before stopping abruptly and he raises his head. No pursuit. Either the Deviobots aren't programmed to do so, or the two of them aren't considered a threat. Either way... their mistake.]
