"Yeah, but it's really no contest. Otherwise there'd really be no winners in the Omegafriends. Too many different heroes." Tails tucked his arms behind his back and rocked back on his heels.

"But anyway, I had an idea about the watch."

"True." As someone who could turn into ten different heroes, he knew each cool power usually came with a huge disadvantage that it was better to have a bunch of different guys working together to cover each other's backs.

"Oh yeah? What'd you come up with?"

This was also something Tails knew, commonly working with a group of close friends before this.

"well, I was wondering if it might need to be re-calibrated. But also if it's completely random when it gives you an alien you didn't want or if there's any sort of pattern to it."

[ A voice sounds from nearby.Sonic swoops in under the legs of the unsuspecting robots and swiftly comes to a stop by his new comrades side. Nothing like a dramatic entrance just in the nick of time! ]

Lucky for you, I've made a career outta smashing bots like this.

[ He nods over his shoulder. ] C'mon! First to smash ten robots wins!

"I don't know. Maybe?" He looked at the watch, the green part currently red. "And sometimes it gives me what I want. Or it'll be weird and give me something way more useful than what I originally planned. But for the most part, I think it just likes messing with me."

"Well if we can test it over a period of time then I'm pretty sure I can figure out what's wrong and fix it for you. It's unusable right now right?" he asked, guessing off the obvious trend of red usually meaning no-go.

[Black Jack just remains quiet at the offer, calmly eating his own meal for a few moments. It may just seem like he's ignoring Robotnik but he's not.

At least not on purpose.]

"Yeah. It's recharging the battery, I think. Have to wait to get the green again before I can transform," Ben explained. "If you can fix this thing, you'd make my life a whole lot easier."

[WHOA that really is a tiny voice! Luckily, Katherine has pretty good hearing, and knows better than to start freaking out and stepping more. She stands still, looking down.]

H--hello? [Who on earth could that be?]

Y-yeah, that's right! [GRIN.] You must be Cassiopeia.

Well, I'm not exactly any of those.

I guess if I really wanted to be, I could... but none of those are really my style.

[She grins, holding out her arm for Tomoyo to measure.]

[ Well, to be fair, Chao's suit is fairly slim, and most of the really obvious mechanical parts are on the back.

My observation drones are already dispatched all over the park. [ She waves a hand in the air, a holographic screen popping up in the air. On it, several dozen video feeds from all over the park. ] We should be able to catch her in the act with this, ne? Especially if she is using a giant robot.

Oh, by all means!

[If Katherine looks down, she'll see what appears to be a ramen bowl on the ground... until it suddenly tilts to reveal the girl underneath it.]

Sorry! But you nearly stepped on me!

"Thanks, man. I mean, I can live with the random aliens, but it's the random time-outs that really freak me out. One of these days, someone's gonna catch me on camera."

Katherine squats in front of her, obviously worried.]

"Yeah, and that could be big trouble for any hero for plenty of reasons. But you can count on me."

I... I'm fine! Just a little shaken is all! I was doing some advance investigation! Hang on, lemme get bigger!

[She pulls out some sort of mallet... thing, and does some sort of maneuver with it. Suddenly, she starts to grow taller; you may want to back up.]

"Thanks, Tails. You're the best."

[She does back up-- right back onto her bum.

What a power. Kat's never seen anything like it!]

W-wow. And here I thought I was the one here in advance!

Blushing? Maybe he was a little. But it was nice to be appreciated. "It's no problem. so, what do you wanna do while we wait?"

[Even in "full" form, she's still only the size of a child, but regardless.]

"Probably should hold off on eating anything. I mean, transforming makes me hungry, especially after a battle, but if we're gonna keep at this, might be better to wait until we're done for the day." He put his hands behind his head. "I guess I could try doing the obstacle course as a human but it'd probably be embarrassing."

That actually made sense, since it seemed like transforming would require some energy. "Well we can start with something a little easier and work you up from there. You know, in case you ever need to do a lot as yourself."
