[Jewelry store robbery. Quick, easy, simple. The places were always filled with easily-snatched bits of valuable stuff. Clear the places out, disappear into the night and make a quick trip to the fence to cash it in. Easy work for the thief and occasional vigilante known as Mistborn. Except when a Super showed up.

When Black Rock Shooter makes her announcement, the short young woman turns around, fixing the teen with a sharp stare. She holds the steely, measuring gaze for a little while... and then turns around and gets right back to work without a word.

Seriously. She doesn't have time for kids.]

Tiger actually pauses for a second to try and process that. What the heck is this kid even going on about? Then he looks down at his minions, eye twitching under his mask. Not even going to bother with a comeback here.]

Don't just stand there, you morons! Shoot her!

[And then, a barrage of high-speed legal tender headed her way.]

[A large dog is standing at the entrance, talking loudly to himself.]

Well here I am, in the nesting grounds for every super-powered civic-minded chump and sore-throated loose cannon who took it into his or her head to put on a stupid costume and personally endanger themselves for the good of all mankind! Or at least mankind within city limits!

[But he's a policeman on a mission: unravel the details of the latest case that was chucked awkwardly at his head, and who better to start with than the people who are on the front lines every day. He turns to the nearest...sentient life form.]

Hey you! Care to answer a few questions?

It's okay, it varies; about 2x Mario's height and/or a head taller than Peach, and super bulky?

[ Bowser growls and looms over her intimidatingly, allowing some fire and smoke to leak out from between his fangs. ]

Yeah? Alright then, wise guy, what're you gonna do if I DON'T let you stop me? Faint in my general direction?

[The blast has Mako bringing up her arm, trying to shield herself as she retreats back as well. Only enough to stand next to the other woman.]

[ The Troopa's faint "WHYYYYYyyyyyyy" is cut off as he slams into the wall and goes ricocheting back out the door into places unknown. Bowser doesn't pay the poor guy any mind, though, because he's too busy devouring the bait hook, line, sinker, and probably eating through most of the dock to boot. ]

Bah! If you want a job done right, you gotta do it yourself!!

[ Except Bowser doesn't rush in. He takes a deep breath before letting loose a huge blast of fire in Evangeline's direction. ]

[ And also in the direction of the cracked-open vault, with its bags and bags of flammable paper money. ]

Does she really look that ridiculous? Or does she really have such terrible presence? Neither option does much to soothe her bruised ego and she actually lets out a little squawk of protest. ]

[the loud cry comes from a mustachio-ed man flying in what looks like an egg-shaped hovercraft. Behind him is... wait, where did that army of robots come from suddenly]

What do you think you're doing here?! My badnik horde and I have plans to build a new fortress here!

Oh, I know you're theoretically capable of being a slight threat. At the very least, I may need to abandon what's left of my loot in my getaway.

But if you're actually good enough to knock me out, well, then I may have to use more than just my Aikido.

[Tucking several balls inside his shell for later use, Iggy jumps up and nods. He's no Ludwig, but he has potential ideas sometimes too.]

Shooter lets out a thin squeak of alarm, doing her best to stand her ground but at right now, fainting in his general direction looks like the most likely outcome. Her hair is practically on end, but her jaw is set in what can only be called 'blind, terrified determination'. ]

I'm gonna-- uh -- I'll make you stop! And if I can't make you stop I'll call for backup!

Brief pause to clear her throat.

"I am POWER PRINCESS! I float like a leaf and sting like a nettle! I always thought it was too...you know, vegetarian to really sound properly dramatic?"

[Nope. That isn't going to happen tonight. She just keeps loading gold and jewelry into her bag until she has what she wants and zips it shut, finally turning to face Shooter again with a sigh.]

Kid, it sounds like your heart's in the right place, but you're really picking the wrong fight right now.

[And she'd really rather be out of here without getting into a fight, even against some kid, so she burns zinc to add to her words, giving off waves of apprehension and doubt.]


[OOC: Quick note on the zinc thing. One of Vin's powers is to influence the emotions of others. Zinc increases the targeted emotions, but Shooter can certainly work past the effects or resist it outright.]
