Is it? Aww. If you say so. I bet that stuff would've been useful.

[She feels the power coming to her, and it spurs her into action, reaching out a hand to catch a robot coming too close, picking it up and throwing it at a group some distance away. From there, she steps forward, a leg sweeping out to blow a few more away before she dives into the fray in earnest, delivering punches and kicks one after another.

Once she realizes her partner isn't exactly covered, Itsuki bounces lightly into the air, and kicks off one of the bots backward toward Lori, landing with a sharp axe kick into the one closest before touching down, picking it up, and chucking it underhand into another one, sending both rolling down the way.]

There are so many... Let me keep them away for a little bit!

[Seriously, why would anybody even rob a bank in broad daylight in a city famous for its superheroes? Well, Blake can't guess at what was going through their heads when they came up with this one but she's not about to argue against anything that makes her job easier either.

The whole takedown had gone off without a hitch. Her first strike from above had dropped three of the four, and although the last one had managed to pull a gun on her, his panicked shots had struck nothing but her Shadows until she'd closed in, cut the barrel of the gun clean in half and delivered a kick to the midsection that sent him thudding into the would-be getaway car and slumping down with a groan.

The whole thing had taken moments and now all that's left is to call in the--

-- wait, what's up with that girl over there?]

Ohmygosh are you a REAL hero!?

[ And this is Ruby. She is like, right there now. She moves deceptively fast for a normal. ]

Holy cow you took those guys out in a flash! It was all like-

WHA-CHAA!! HIYAH!

And then it was over!

....Can I have your autograph!?

[This mission was going swimmingly so far and Westar was enjoying it very much. Because, well... It had been too long since he'd had an actual successful mission. Thankfully, even if anything went wrong, he had a trustworthy partner with him!

...Okay, sure, he could probably do without the smell. But other than that, he couldn't ask for a better ally than Stinkor.]

Excellent! [Westar himself is shoving a good deal of snacks in a bag now. Hm... Maybe a few more bags of potato chips...?] Without snacks to keep their energy up, the Omegafriends will be weakened considerably! They won't be able to put up a proper fight anymore!

Eh? [Yayoi turns just in time to see the knives heading her way. ] Eeeeeeehhh?! [Panicking, she pretty much throws herself to the side, getting out of the way at the last second.

Sure, she lands on her face and, boy, does that hurt. But it sure beats getting hit by that attack. She gets back up quickly.]

T-Thanks! I thought I was done for...

[...

Okay, suddenly? Suddenly she doesn't feel as confident anymore. That's a really scary lady. She looks at the sword, then back to Agria.

For a moment, she's seriously tempted to do as she says and just run. Her legs are even shaking a little. But she can't run. She's a hero and heroes don't run from fights!]

I... I'll never run away! I-I won't just let you do as you please! [Oh god, oh god, oh god.] S-So... maybe you can just... surrender instead?

Oh Yayoi...]

[ As Shooter jerks back in surprise, the pain in her side flares again and her teeth grit. Her breath comes out in a thin hiss from between her teeth, but she stands up straighter, still a little shaky, but her determination bolstered, curiously, by fear.

She really doesn't want to feel just how deep that blade cuts. ]

I guess it kind of suits you. I'm not really impressed, though.

[ she's trying to sound flippant and off-hand, but who knows if it's working. ]

[Whoah, wait, what? How did she get over here so fast? Blake's bow actually twitches a bit as she leans back, as she can't help but flicking the ears beneath it in surprise.]

I'm--

[Okay, forget answering that question. She blinks a few times.]

It--

[Too slow again. She gives up getting a word in edgewise here. A second or two ticks by as she waits to make sure the girl's actually finished before....]

You... want my autograph?

[ Ruby looks a little meeker now - a little. ] Well... yeah. I mean, you were so cool. And you're a real hero!

I've always wanted to be a hero, y'know. Helping people, saving lives, stopping the bad guys. But I've got a ways to go before.

So, um... [ She holds out an autograph book. And pen. ]

Surrender? I don't think so.

Listen up, girly girl, I'll only say this once. I'm Agria the Shadowless of the Chimeriad. The only way this can possibly end is with you running away, or you leaving in a body bag.

Now make your choice, or I'll make it for you!

Blake frowns a bit and glances down in the direction she was headed. Briefly, she considers continuing on her way, but... she knows from experience how difficult the transition could be. She'd managed it on her own, but....

"... I'm Blake."

[A real hero. She... can't really say she fits that description, given her past. She glances down at the autograph book, frowning a bit and hesitating to actually take it.]

That's... a very noble goal. But things aren't always as simple as "good guys and bad guys."

[That was a little optimistic of him, yes.

Skeletor's blast goes wild, firing off harmlessly over the city and as Superman hurtles at him like a rocket, the Havoc Staff lights up again. Thrusting the weapon forward, there's another explosion of magic, intercepting Superman's charge.]

[Croach the Tracker can't exactly be "out of costume." He has blue skin, eyes as black as a moonless night, giant antenna sticking out of his forehead, and comes from outer space. No amount of make-up is going to keep him hidden.

In any case, he is simply taking the opportunity to explore Venture City, get a better feel for its layout. There's no point being the designated tracker of G'loot Praktaw if he doesn't know where he's going.

Speaking of tracking, he can't help but use his many senses to notice that very excited human over there. Who he is just. Giving a baffled look at the moment. What are emotions even.]

"...Terra Branford. Um. Trance."

...oh. No wonder she's so nervous, she's that villain that set fire to a quarter of the city under mind control.

[ Chao Lingshen, the super-genius girl with expert hand-to-hand combat skills. As far as anybody's aware, she's completely mundane, but her skills were enough to warrant her entrance to the Omegafriends. She's a researcher in robotics, superhuman powers, biological engineering, quantum mechanics, and rocket science at the local university, so man, she's good. Her codename is Cassiopeia.

Their mission? Stop Lady Blue from stealing the park.

Truth be told, it was a cover for a larger scheme in the works. Chao's scheme. So she was more than happy to make sure that this mission kept them occupied and her real work away form prying eyes. ]

Any ideas?

[ This day, Chao's making upgrades to the Omegabase's defenses. She has out a multitude of incredibly advanced-looking tools, panels open everywhere as she makes upgrades to their base for defenses, cloaking, threat detection, and anything and everything else. She has several small robots, which look like small robotic balls flying around with mini-propellers, doing some work as well, soldering with lasers and doing precise work with small mechanical arms.

Overall, she looks pretty busy, but feel free to bother her anyway. She's very friendly! ]

[ ...And now Chao's plan has come to a head. One week ago, she left the Omegafriends without saying a word. Immediately afterwards, a bill passed in the city requiring all heroes to register their identities with the city and cease working under any false monikers. Chao was listed as the sponsor of the bill.

And today, the Omegabase's defenses all went offline at the same time. Her "upgrades" certainly worked wonders.

Outside all of the base's entrances, robots began to break inside. Some of them human in shape and size, but sporting lasers powerful enough to blast through steel. Some of them were larger than tanks and built like giant spiders. At one entrance, a giant robot, as large as a skyscraper, waited to battle, surely drawing the attention of the Omegafriends' most powerful members.

And inside the base, Chao, clad in an advanced bodysuit. Yup. Today was the day. ]

Sorry, everyone. But this has been my life's work - I'm sure you all understand.

[ Quietly, to herself, Ruby Rose begins to freak out. ]

Wait, he's looking over here. Did he notice me? Of course he noticed me. I stick out like a sore thumb.

Okay, Ruby, you can do this. Play it cool. Play it cool. Super cool.

[ Deeeep breath... ]

Hiiiiiiii there!

[ AW YEAH. Nailed it. ]

[Huh. That girl seems... really excited. He can tell with his many sense that she's also nervous. He's not exactly sure why she's talking about "playing cool." Does that mean you pretend to be a cold... thing? Humans are weird.

Okay, wait. How does one socialize. There's like, talking and stuff right?]

...Greetings, small human female.

[Aha! Ha nailed it! Imaginary self-high five!]

Wow, he can not believe that worked. I mean, he is Croach the Tracker, not Croach the Good At Fighting. He should be Croach the Good At Fighting. Or maybe Croach the Best At Onus Talibration. Croach the Handsome would be great too.

Oh right. Crimefighting. He moves to try and stick an arrow into one of her sleeve, keeping her on the ground. Maybe this will work? Maybe it won't.

"My onus would increase were you to stay down."

That probably won't work.

Well, maybe that'll change once it nicks you! I mean, this thing is made out of some pretty serious stuff! Don't you want to see what it can do?

Actually, I'll show you!

[With another spin, she flashes her biggest smile as she takes the blade with two hands and goes in rushing for a horizontal slice! Shooter's really going to want to avoid this one, because it'll leave a really nasty cut if it lands..]
