September Test Drive
Thinking of joining The Omegafriends, but want to get a feel for things first? Need some threads for your application sample? You’ve come to the right place! 1. Venture City in Peril! Dr. Devious’s army of Deviobots are ransacking the city! No, wait, Baron Von Tyrannosaur is back with another dinosaur army! No, wait, it's... really, ther's a lot of different ways a city can be imperiled. However, no matter the threat, it’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel the forces of evil.
2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!
3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!
4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.
5. The Mighty Showdown! In the life of a Super, good and evil are always clashing in battle. Today, you’ve come face to face with one of the many supervillains threatening the future of Venture City! Who will rise and who will fall? Next issue: The shocking answer!

[Suddenly, a massive black sword appeared in her hands, spilling black globs in all directions, whirling at an incredible speed around her until she was completely hidden by a massive column of black energy. And when it was gone...
...she wasn't alone anymore, nor was she dressed the same.]

Don't think so high of yourself because you caught me off guard for a moment. One little bite and even the biggest snakes fall to the spiders poison.
[As she said that, she bares her fangs, and a purple liquid starts to drip from them.]

She wanted a taste of us, so I don't even care.
[The harsher Elise grinned towards Arachne.]

I was just going to scare you off and take your money, but it seems you need some punishment you little brat.
[Arachne shakes her large abdomen and 2 large egg sacks spawn next to her. A moment lager large broodlings spawn out of them and bare their fangs at the 2.]

[With one fluid movement, both Elises jumped backwards in different directions, both throwing knives during said movement.
Neither hit the ground after the jump - one latched to a lantern, the other suddenly extended her sleeve by several feet, latching to a signpost and using it to catapult herself high up into the air.]

Inti, mixing gemini man with snake man is bad, gemini man fears snakes!
And there was also hissing, because the knives that had missed Arache were attacking again, having turned into what they once were: Poisonous snakes!]

[She fires a line of web quickly at her. If it hit, it would wrap her in a cocoon and pull her right into the claws of arachne.]

[The less timid Elise used that moment to throw her own knife - to intercept the strand, so Arachne'd hit a knife (and, consequently, a snake!)]

Meanwhile her broodlings and other spiders and getting closer to the other Elise. Some have been lost due to the knifes but there are so many that the floor and walls are covered.]

[Timid Elise actually managed to dodge between talking and throwing knives.]
Let the spider eat dust, I got enough fun burning that lab down, I guess~

[Arachne throws one last large web ball at the 2, then jumps high into the air onto a web you barely could see, and scuttles off on it.]
