1. Venture City in Peril! Dr. Devious’s army of Deviobots are ransacking the city! No, wait, Baron Von Tyrannosaur is back with another dinosaur army! No, wait, it's... really, ther's a lot of different ways a city can be imperiled. However, no matter the threat, it’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel the forces of evil.

2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

5. The Mighty Showdown! In the life of a Super, good and evil are always clashing in battle. Today, you’ve come face to face with one of the many supervillains threatening the future of Venture City! Who will rise and who will fall? Next issue: The shocking answer!

6. Time Warp! Chasing after Lady Blue's latest heist has left you temporarily stranded, along with your fellow heroes, in another era. Where and when have you gone, and how will you cope with the bizarre situation?

One time... I read a story, about somebody who put spiders in milk...

I would never drown my babies in milk. If I ever seen someone do that I would have to end their life quickly

... if I knew anyone who put spiders in good milk...

I mean that you are a villain they goes after anyone that doesn't go all natural with their products. Like Someone who feeds their cows with proceed feed and treats them poorly and doesn't milk them by hand.

[She's a farm girl and a teenager she hasn't had a chance to learn everything about the English language yet...]

If you're looking for people to become spider people, I'm not interested, okay?

[Arachne frowned and glared at Melanie]

I don't make people into spider people, you'd have to go talk to the Gods about that. And I have the right to ask someone who happens to be in my territory.

I already told you I don't want to become a spider person, why would I talk to them about that?

This place doesn't have enough spider webs to be your territory... is it really?

Listen girl, this part of the city is my territory. If you want to cause trouble in it you have to go through me first.

I don't advertize. I don't want the heroes to know of my existence. I prefer to stay in the darkness, targeting people without them even knowing who caused it.

You obviously are very new to this gig, so I suggest you quickly leave before you cause enough trouble for a cape to show up.

[Spiders start to descend from the ceiling around Melanie.]

[The lights flicker momentarily, and then ghosts burst out from all around; intercepting the spiders]

[Arachne growls and backs up a bit, watching her spiders scurry around to avoid the ghosts. She quickly weaves a ball of web, and throws it at Melanie.]

[Again the lights flicker, and... where did Hex Maniac go while the lights were out?]

Behind you~

[Yes, there she is, standing upside down on the ceiling...]

[Arachne turns around and evily smirks.]

Well well, seems like you aren't just some kid trying to play with the grownups. Still..

[Suddenly large broodlings popped out of the rafters around both of them]

You shouldn't so carelessly walk into a spiders lair.

[More ghosts pop up, intercepting broodlings. It's a minion fight!]

[And she sweeps her hand, causing a black puddle to form in front of her on the ceiling... which proceeds to expand away from her towards Arachne. Any spiders touching it will suddenly lose their footing on the ceiling and fall off]

If you are in my territory it's part of my business. If you want to work her, you gotta be mindful of a few rules.

[the goop on the ceiling seems to bubble for a moment, before a glob of the stuff suddenly flies down at Arachne. If it hits, it will make things rather slippery for her in general. Also, it plain smells bad]
