1. Venture City in Peril! Dr. Devious’s army of Deviobots are ransacking the city! No, wait, Baron Von Tyrannosaur is back with another dinosaur army! No, wait, it's... really, ther's a lot of different ways a city can be imperiled. However, no matter the threat, it’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel the forces of evil.

2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

"Uh... maybe ten minutes?" the young woman shrugged, "Was thinking of looking into real estate, but... y'know, now that you added to the damage, I'm kinda thinking of looking somewhere else."

Abruptly, from out of nowhere, a voice that sounds oddly like John Rhys-Davies chimed in, "You may get out of this one just y-"

And abruptly, the voice cut off.

"... ... What the heck was that?" the young woman asked, doing her best to sound surprised.

I know the Narration Blues

Spark was also suitably confused, looking around for a few moments. Zapps joined in that. Then focusing back on her. "I don't know. Think we should look for it? Maybe it's the person we're looking for," Spark stated.

Them narration blues...

"Er... sure? I'm not your boss, am I? I've been hearing that voice off and on, but I have no idea where it's coming from, if that helps."

... Could it be that her narrator might actually be useful for once?

[electricalcurrent]

"No. Not that you're my boss. Bah. No. But it might be why we thought this place was... evil so to speak. Doing bad things," Spark said. Zapps would face palm if he could.

[save_load]

"Uh-huh. So you don't need me here anymore, right?"

The odd disembodied voice chimed in again, "There's nothing of note in the room anymore, with the exception of-" and it cuts out again.

Unfortunately, the voice doesn't seem to be coming from any particular direction. It's just... there. Somehow.

[electricalcurrent]

She rubbed her head some, trying to figure it out. "Well, you're still a suspect in the case until we've done a clean sweep," She said, like she was reading cue cards.

"Joy," so much sarcasm, "If I knew this place was so much trouble, I woulda stayed home..."

[electricalcurrent]

"Well, let's start searching around," She said, starting to walk with her around the place. Looking for clues!

[save_load]

"You want me to help? I thought I was a suspect..."

[electricalcurrent]

"No, I just want you to stick close so you can't do anything... suspect...y."

Couldn't leave that word alone, could you Spark?

[save_load]

"If you say so..."

She looks around the apartment, before... staring rather fixedly at something...

... and the narrator chimes in, "The hole in the wall behind the dusty couch is likely home to a family of mice. Of course, without investigating it further, it could contain a grue for all you know."

[electricalcurrent]

"The void is that voice!"

[save_load]

"... the void?"

[electricalcurrent]

There was a click, before she said something. "Do you want a summary of my species' theology or just want to let that one slide?"

[save_load]

"... Yeah, I'll pass on that. Maybe you should check out the mouse hole that voice was talking about?"

[electricalcurrent]

"Figured. X-ray vision activate!" She turned to look at the hole, seeming to stare blankly at it now. The upper eye was kind of just spinning around, clearly the best time to try to run.

Or maybe not. Since Spark and Zapps didn't have any sort of X-ray vision.

And the cat burglar pulls a Batman, disappearing out the window.

[electricalcurrent]

Of course, the eye in the back was watching and the whole suit jets backwards out of the window, intent on following her.

Though might have given her a tiny bit of too much of a headstart.

[Enough time to transform into cat form]

[Said cat lets out a surprised yowl and darts away]

[electricalcurrent]

The Electrical Current decides to leave it be for now, come back to it later. The case. She thought the cat was just a cat.

Wow bad me, switching posting formats suddenly...

And Doomkitty celebrates her getaway... by going further away.

Should the Electrical Current investigate the apartment further, it's clear that the place is... mostly cleared out. There are a few bits of jewelry that was left behind, though. Probably stolen.
