1. Venture City in Peril! Dr. Devious’s army of Deviobots are ransacking the city! No, wait, Baron Von Tyrannosaur is back with another dinosaur army! No, wait, it's... really, ther's a lot of different ways a city can be imperiled. However, no matter the threat, it’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel the forces of evil.

2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

3. The Adventure Mundane! It's not all over-the-top heroics here - sometimes, ordinary day-to-day life can be just as much trouble! On the trail of a story for the Daily Venture? Frantic last-minute studying for tomorrow's math test? Harassing people to sign petitions on street corners? Hitting the arcade to destroy simulated villains instead of real ones? The sky's the limit!

4. Welcome to the Omegabase! The super-secret underground Omegabase has it all - training centers, VR simulators, free snack machines, but most important is a whole lot of Supers! Take a minute to kick back and get to know your fellow heroes.

5. The Mighty Showdown! In the life of a Super, good and evil are always clashing in battle. Today, you’ve come face to face with one of the many supervillains threatening the future of Venture City! Who will rise and who will fall? Next issue: The shocking answer!

[Sooo costumes aren't a requirement inside the base? Bobby almost raises an eyebrow at the idea, though it might be convenient later. He just wasn't expecting anything so casual.]

Sure am. Just rode into town and everything.

[They probably are but Ben first arrived without a costume so it's not like the superheroes have any clue who he is already. (At least he's started wearing one in the field, right?)]

Nice! I'm Ben 10. [Lame name. Lame lame lame name. For all the cool names he came up with for his aliens, he'd blanked out on his own.]

[He holds out his hand to the little guy.] Who're you?

[Taking the offered hand, Bobby gives a friendly smile.]

You can call me Scaler. [Not any more creative, but fitting just the same. He hasn't named any of the other transformations, preferring to just be Scaler for them all.]

"Scaler"? Cool name. [He grins.] So what is it you do?

I can do anything if I need to. [Said complete with hands on his hips in a heroic pose, it's obvious he's not short on confidence.] But actually I can transform into a lot of lizards that each do something different.

Awesome! [Ben holds out his fist for a brofist.] Not a lot of us shapeshifters around.

[Brofist get. Bobby bumps fists with him, a grin spreading over his face.] You too huh? So, how'd you get your powers?

Alien watch. [Ben holds it up to show it off.] It turns me into any one of ten aliens. Well, technically twelve now.

Now facepalming because I didn't make the icon most fitting for this.

[Looking the watch over, Bobby can't help feel a small twinge of jealousy. Seems like a pretty simple thing and a lot of choices.]

Twelve? That's double my collection.

It's not. And I might get to add some home planet lizards to my collection instead of just the outer space types.

Yeah. But this works pretty well as my disguise. Y'know, chameleon and everything.

Wait. You can stay in lizard form as long as you want?

Well yeah. You can't?

Nope. Stupid watch times out anywhere between five and fifteen minutes. Usually at the worst possible times.

You'd think a watch would be better at time management.

[Bobby, that was lame.]

Yeah, you'd think. This thing can change me into different aliens, but it fails as a time watch.

Well, there are so many heroes around here that there has to be someone who can fix that right?

Don't know, and I'm kinda worried about people poking around with it. I mean, it's already pretty touchy. I don't need it to get worse.

[The watch's face flashed a few times as it gave a series of beeps that sounded cross. Somehow.]

[Ben scowls and lifts the watch up closer to his mouth, glaring at it.]

You are so touchy!

[Well...that was new. Booby just raises an eyebrow ridge and scratches the side of his head.]

[Ben glances up from the watch at his new friend and laughs awkwardly.]

I swear I'm not crazy.

[The watch flashes again, chirping.]

Oh, shut up.

You'd be better at proving that by not letting your watch argue with you.

[At least he's acknowledging the watch is arguing?]

It pretty much does what it wants. I can't even get the alien I wanted most of the time.

You should definitely get that looked at then. I'm pretty sure that if you get the wrong one while out heroing the bad guys aren't gonna let you call a time-out.
