No, wait, it's... really, ther's a lot of different ways a city can be imperiled. However, no matter the threat, it’s up to you, the Omegafriends, to save the day - but you’ll need to work together to repel the forces of evil.

2. A Hero is Born! What started as an ordinary day was thrown into chaos as your newfound superpowers began to suddenly awaken! What perilous problems and zany antics will this bring about? Stay tuned to find out!

Once Slade steps out of the darkness she recognizes him. He's as famous as any of the original heroes, and twice as sinister.She refuses to give him the satisfaction of her recognizing him though, so she counters as if she didn't. "Or maybe you're not as impressive as you think."She stays on the ready though, just in case he tries anything.

There is a slight chuckle from under the mask. He approaches slowly, with no weapon in hand.

"You have spirit. I like that."

Lucky Girl doesn't put away her weapon as he approaches. She simply stands her ground, watching him. This isn't the best of situations. In fact it's probably the worst of them. Slade isn't your run of the mill robber and he's defiantly not an alien. He'd probably fall best under the category of super villain, and Gwen hasn't actually gone up against any of those before. She's not looking for this to be her first time. The ball of mana pulses slightly in her hand.

"I'm not interested." It's a flat out refusal for whatever he might be offering her. She's not taking anything from someone like him. In fact she's taking mental stock of her area so she can quickly make her escape.

He stops about five feet away from her, standing completely at ease.

"My dear girl, you don't even know what I'm offering."

"Still not interested." Slade could offer her a million bucks and a trip to Tahiti and she'd still say no. There's a slight movement of her feet as she nears the edge of the building, preparing for the removal of herself from this situation.

Slade's voice remains cold and calm... almost condescending, even.
"Stubborn girl. I suppose you haven't learned the value of a true opportunity, yet. But don't worry, I'll be in touch."

With a quick gesture and the grace of an illusionist, his empty hand suddenly holds a metal sphere about the size of a baseball, which he casually tosses at her face.

It's a good thing that Gwen already had a mana disc ready. She swipes the air between her and the device so that it hits the wall of mana instead of her. Great, she was on a super villain's call list, that's just what she wanted on her first day back in town. "Don't bother, I'm not going to be interested."
