Player Plot: Slade's Contest
At game start, Slade will be announcing a week-long "contest", the objective of which is just to impress him by defeating a strong opponent in Venture City. His secret agenda for this is to determine who is worth recruiting to his side for his future plots.
He has plenty of money to offer, but also because of his black market research and his propensity for researching the weaknesses of all possible threats, he has quite the collection of objects and substances specifically intended for the neutralization of certain powers or beings. In canon, Kryptonite is the most obvious of these (he's repeatedly used it on both Supergirl and Superboy), but he's been shown to take out entire teams of heroes by having something special prepared for every one of them. If your hero has a weakness you are comfortable in having Slade have access to, please let me know. (The first thing that jumps to mind are some of the lesser life-fiber cutting weapons [like the Tailor's glove] for the various Kill la Kill characters here, but I'm not willing to state Slade has those explicitly without your permission.)
