[Oh boy, do Tomoyo's eyes ever light up at that one. Her voice jumps up to a higher register, practically bubbling with excitement.]

You're a fashion designer as well?! How fortuitous! We simply must work together sometime, if it wouldn't be too much of a bother to you!

Psh, you're flattering me. I wouldn't say I'm a fashion designer...

[It's more of she just knits her own sweaters; she's a very arts-and-craftsy kind of person. A master, if she does say so herself.]

But I'd love to work with you! It wouldn't be a bother at all. I guess this makes us partners!

[She clasps one of Mabel's hands in both of hers.]

[Mabel glances down to look at what symbol she was wearing - a question mark.]

Oh! This one's because my brother's into lots of mysteries. I mean, I'm kinda into them too, but he's waaaay in deeper than I am.

Mysteries, you say?

[She tilts her head to the side.]

If you don't mind my asking, what sorts of mysteries?

The paranormal! Like ghosts, and gnomes, and sea creatures... you know, all that jazz.

What a thrilling hobby! I don't suppose you've ever captured video footage of such things?

Naaah. I mean, my brother let me be his camerawoman for a while, but it's not like I have the tapes on me. He'd be better at explaining them than I am, honestly.

I see. All the same, I'm sure you've had some remarkable adventures.

Heh, yeah. They were pretty fun.

[The most fun part was just being with her brother, but it's not like he needs to know that.]

What about you? You've done anything interesting?

[A quiet, humble mood comes over Tomoyo.]

For me... it's enough to be in the presence of those who do great things, and to document their deeds.

[Out of every response, she hadn't been expecting that one.]

[She shakes her head politely.]

Not at all. Watching amazing people do amazing things is what I love most in the world!

[She's got a bit of a reputation to hold up, after all. She extends her pinky out to Tomoyo.]

[She loops her pinky around the other's, grinning.]

Well, I'm happy when my brother's happy. He pretty much means the world to me. He's a bit of a dork and sometimes annoying, and sometimes we fight, but we still care about each other regardless. I don't know what I'd do without him.

[Tomoyo brightens in the way one only does when one has found a kindred spirit.]

The happiness of those you love is the best of all, isn't it?!

Yeah, I think so. I'd rather see those I love be happy than miserable.

[She giggles a hand to her mouth.]
