Down on the ground, a tricked-out glowing blue car speeds onto the scene, and is promptly smashed and sent flying by a 20-foot tall robot. It rolls over several times, and lands upside down as several of the 'bots advance on it.

Well, that's a heck of a thing. The suddenness prevents Spider-Man from stopping things proceeding as they just had, but he quickly leaps into action. Said 20-foot tall Deviobot suddenly finds web lines attaching its legs to several nearby buildings, something which he hopes will hold it off long enough for him to get to the crashed car - which he's surprised isn't in a million pieces after all that, honestly.

Landing beside it, he reaches out and is ready to just use that proportionate spider strength to rip the door right off its hinges.

"Hey! You conscious in there?!"

At first it looks the car is being driven by yet another robot, but when he turns his head you can see that he is half man. He climbs out, towering over Spidey in terms of height, and looks at the door like he's going to cry.

"Ah man, you tore the door right off my baby!"

Then he looks at his car and actually sobs.

"Wha- IT'S COMPLETELY TOTALED!"

Spidey almost takes a leap back at the sight of the guy he's trying to "rescue," but a lack of his danger sense going off like the Fourth of July and him just getting punted by one of those robots gives him enough a sense that he at least isn't with these losers. He rubs the back of his head sheepishly, just... setting the door down as quietly as he can.

"Sorry, sorry! My bad, I just thought you might be hurt or-"

A blast of laser fire strikes nearby, demolishing a sidewalk and sending chunks of rubble raining down.

"--you know what, we can look and see about the Omegafriends' insurance plans later."

Cyborg nods. "Right, let's-"

Just then, another missile hits his car, and he's forced to duck for cover from the explosion.

"Oh it is ON now!" He pats his arm, and it transforms into his sonic cannon.

"You ready, man?"

Spidey ends up sensing the missile incoming, and flips out of the way. He was prepared to throw a web line to catch and tug Cyborg with him, but... he seemed to handle himself just fine there.

And he came packing heat, on top of that. He gives a sharp laugh as he lands on the side of a light pole.

"Sounds like a plan! That thing pack enough of a punch to do the job if I can trip 'em up?"

Cyborg taps some buttons on his cannon, and it starts to make the distinctive sound of building power. He shouts to Spidey, "Oh, I got more than enough to handle these scrapheaps. But, instead of tripping them, do ya think you could line a bunch of 'em up?" He grins.

"Hey, can do anything a spider can, lines are... well, webs are sort of lines and-"

He waves a hand.

"Nevermind, even I know when a joke isn't going to work."

Most of the time.

Regardless, he flashes a thumbs up and takes off swinging down the street. He flips above one Deviobot's head, attaching one web line from it to another. Then another, and another, dodging swipes and suppressing fire the whole way. Then, he backtracks - running down the walls of several buildings, back towards Cyborg. The robots follow, stuck in some sort of tethered conga line.

Cyborg amplifies his voice as he shouts to Spidey. "Okay webhead, I need ya clear in three, two, ONE"

Cyborg's cannon makes a deafeningly loud noise as it releases its pent-up energy. It fires a powerful beam of intense blue light at the procession of robots, and anything caught in the beam is rapidly vibrated to pieces!
