[How to stop a young girl supervillain but with a young girl superhero?]

You're not getting away this time, Evangeline! Even I, with a heart wider than the sea, have reached my limit!

[Evangeline simply chuckled.]

You've done pretty well, so far. Figured out all three of my tricks without even needing prompting. Saved both hostages cleanly. Even got the idol back.

But, tell me, dear. How well have you thought this through? How much will I have to hold back for a fair fight?

No matter how many schemes you come up with, the Omegafriends will always stop you!

Mariiiine... SHOOOT!

[With a wave of her palm, Cure Marine sends a machine-gun spread of blue laser bolts at the villainous vampire!]

[The first wave of blasts is blocked with a hastily-tossed up wall of ice.]

Water powers against ice magic. This could actually be fun.

[And then, Evangeline dashes right in at Cure Marine.]

[Marine crosses her arms over her chest to block Evangeline's tiny fist, but is still knocked back a solid ten feet!]

How can you punch that hard?! You're even smaller than I am!

You really didn't read up on me in the Omegadatabase, did you?

Sheesh, I even edited like a third of that entry myself once to warn you people.

[The next few punches are a fair notch more sane power-wise, though still quite strong - like Evangeline's superhuman strength got flipped off and this is just a girl who has trained in Aikido for over a century striking now.]

As if anyone has the time to read through that thing!

[Now that Evangeline's power has dropped, it's more of an even fight! Marine and Evangeline are trading blows back and forth, neither of them making much headway.]

It's not every day a villain tells you exactly what the best tools for defeating them are!

[As the blows trade back and forth, Evangeline suddenly steps to one side, taking a quick grab at Marine's arm as she swings out for a punch, trying to turn the momentum into a throw to drop Marine to the ground.]

[It works! Marine crashes to the ground, but shes not out - she swings around from the ground to sweep out Eva's feet from under her with one leg.]

[The quick ploy works, knocking Evangeline off her feet and forcing her to roll away to keep Marine from getting a chance to capitalize.]

Not bad at all.

[Instead of just standing up, Marine springs up into the air, landing on top of a nearby lamp post!]

I've picked up a new tricks since last time you saw me! Gather, flower power! Marine Tact!

[A magical wand-like device materializes in Cure Marine's hand. She gives the ring around it a spin, focusing rainbow light into the tip!]

Shine, flowers! Precuuuuure Blue Forte WAAAAAAAAAAAVE!

[From the Tact, Marine launches a blazing flower of blue and green energy right at Evangeline!]

[As Marine moves, Evangeline almost thinks to take to the air...]

Wait, what on-

[And then the energy's flying, and strikes Evangeline with enough force to slam her back a ways and into the ground, bouncing several times on the way and kicking up a lot of dirt and dust!]

GAH!

Take that! How do you like the power of my maidenly heart?

You... Little...

[Evangeline slowly struggles up, her clothes a complete mess but somehow not torn to shreds by the blast.]

You're not winning... That easily...

Don't you know when you've been beaten? Once I'm done with you, it's straight to jail you go!

Hrm. So you think you'll break my streak of getting away, then?

I wonder if that means I need to treat you like more of a threat or not...

You mean you haven't been treating me like a threat until now?!

Oh, I know you're theoretically capable of being a slight threat. At the very least, I may need to abandon what's left of my loot in my getaway.

But if you're actually good enough to knock me out, well, then I may have to use more than just my Aikido.

You're just bragging before you run away again, aren't you?
