"You can't truly beliee that someone such as I would bog themselves down with a substandard lair like this? I'm merely... inspecting it."
She placed a golden chalice to the side carefully as she said so.
Why did people always have to come and disturb her when she was trying to make a part of the loot disappear for her own ends?! Curse those meddlesome heroes - even when, technically, she was one of those herself, nowadays!
no subject
"Well, if you're admitting you're a bad guy, this doesn't matter if its your lair or not! Let's fight!" She stated, thrusting back up and thrusting towards Himiko at high velocity with an energy backed first flying over at her.

My, the people of this day and age were rash!
Considering that punches were really not appreciated, she immediately dove to the side...
Both towards the left AND towards the right, herself heading left, and a created shadow double moving right. That should confuse the hostile hero somewhat, so she could set up something to bind said hero!

In the last possible moment, she managed to find a shadow to solidify, creating a shadow crate which blocked that attack on her. That hero REALLY wanted her, huh?!
"What do you hero types always have against me! Priests, dagger users and now some weirdo of a knight?! And all I wanted was some well deserved quiet..."
While saying so, she blasted several crackling bolts of pure darkness towards her for. Gee, that one was probably a 'tough cookie', as they'd said in this era. She really didn't like the look of those shots, too.
She wanted rest, not getting shocked into unconsciousness!

Did still push her back some as the weight still didn't stop the need to slide back to vaporize it. There was clicking from them as she released a lot of steam for a few moments. She dropped her hands down now, with teh armor up now.
"I am not a knight. Though if you're willing to give yourself up, I can promise plenty of quiet. In your sigiled cell," She stated. She then directed the arm upwards now. "ROCKET BARRAGE!" Which prompted the armor to spring out a number of rocket pods. They didn't fly at her though, but instead heading upwards to blast open the ceiling.

Not a knight, then? Well, the armor still seemed knight-ish to Himiko, but if this zealous hero preferred a different word, well, that was fine.
The rocket barrage made her narrow her eyes, though. While debris pelted down on a quickly created block of shadow above Himiko's head, the fox wondered what her self-declared enemy was plotting. Quite a lot of abilities, that one, the armor was dangerous.
Would probably be a good point to check how creative the enemy was, to see if simply escaping was an option.
"Well, I'm afraid I'll have to leave. And you're staying! BIND."
A kind of shadow spike stabbed at Spark and Zapps' shadow from behind, to, well, bind said shadow to the floor - and thus prevent movement. Good way to throw her enemy off, unless said enemy proved to be clever enough to do something with light. Would be good to know...
no subject
That said her coming to that decision took about thirty seconds. She had been talking with Zapps to figure out the plan, since she wasn't sure why she was stuck. Figuring it out took enough time that Himiko might be able to get away if she was swift, though wouldn't stop the two from trying to find her. Especially if she ran.
Hope it was fine like this, combat scenes are difficult!
...Which involved escaping, then quickly jumping up to a crate further away, on which she sat down, to wave at her enemy once the odd armored person detected her.
"A person that did something worth of arrest would have fled in the meantime."
She didn't want her face on a wanted list, so it seemed prudent to just, well, solve this diplomatically. After all, it was certainly possible that a member of the omegafriends would inspect stolen goods after invading a villain's hideout! Just to be safe, and stuff.
Yeah. Reigning in the powers is my main problem.
In reality the suit needed to restore some energy, rapid transformation while not synchronized with the suit AI was a taxing endeavor. Not that Himiko might recognize it as more than a three eyed robotic or a knight of some kind. There was more chittering together.
"If you believe yourself innocent, present yourself in the light and plead your case. I'll investigate the goods here," Spark stated. In a way that sounded like she was reading from cue cards.
I know that problem well. Sillypowers. Flower power might be more suitable for me!
"It is not, strictly speaking, my lair, as noted before. I'm just inspecting it, after the original owner was made to leave. As for the crates, I was checking if their contents fit some heists I was looking into, but alas, they did not."
Which was the only reason her bags were empty.
"And let's be frank, do I truly appear to be that kind of villain? Surely, you notice that I am anything but!"
Of course, there was the whole darkness shtick she had, but that could be prejudice!

She smiled happily. It was true, since the rightful owner was, of course, Himiko herself. Obviously.
"You could argue that this would be stealing from a thief, but I don't think they'd have the right to complain. Why, I'd think they would never count as the owner to begin with!"
...
"As for darkness, consider it thus: Does the world not need the night? Have it day, the entire day, then all would wither and die in the relentless, merciless light. Without a bit of darkness, the world would be a much less pleasant place~"
While she talked with confidence, the voice shtick of the heroic interloper really made her wonder. What was up with that?
no subject
"Darkness is absence of energy. What you speak of as the night is not darkness, merely the reduction in received energy. The void, the Abyss... that is the spawn of the anti-thesis of everything," The way she said that... like she was talking about the devil or something.
no subject
"Oh, I could have gotten the cops, and I likely would have - after the inspection. After all, as you witnessed, I am an expert when it comes to darkness. It's child's play to find curses, all sort of which may be on these relics!"
She tried a reassuring smile, fangs or not.
"As you say, darkness can be the antithesis of everything. Or, like me, it can just be hungry of being filled. My kind of darkness is the one that makes me bathe in the sun quite a bit. Not all that threatening, no?"
Such a nice, harmless fox!
